I catch atleast 3 pickerel a day, thats not a pickerel.

@lrecollet not true. pickerel is what the hee haws from ontario call walleyes. no where in writing is pickerel a real name for a walleye. there is a pickerel that is in the same family as the pike and musky. you have a grass pickerel and chain pickerel that look very similar to a northern pike. find me any "official" documentation that says a walleye is the same as a pickerel and i'll eat white dog shit

i catch perch here in canada bigger than those,why such small wally's??....we get them here from 5-20lbs and still are bigger ones out there......i used to use the v cut for those bones,but i just found an easier way to fillet them and perfectly boneless..

@sucklava yea they don't breed like the bigger one's do thats why you let the big ones go and keep the "babys" becuase they don't breed. if you eat all the breeders then thier would be fishary problem and no little one to eat. furthermore we shoot baby moose (there 500 pounds) becuse they can't breed for 5 years kinda like we can't tell where 12 years old.
