The male's call sounds like a snorting pig, the females squeal like a tortured infant. Cute, though ;-)

you CAN have a koala as a "pet" but you must have standard and adequate spacing for it. Not to mention all the months of waiting, approval, forms and licenses.

No-one i know has pet a pet koala. This was clearly a wild koala that lived on their land.

Depending on where in Australia they live, they can be rare - very common.

Where i live we get them and kangaroos almost every day!
