  • thanks-to me it is one of the gratest song ever-it is so pitty that eileen past away so yang

  • Im pretty sure that Eileen is no longer alive. She had a lovely voice.

  • was a powerful song is she still alive?

  • great song! absolutely magnificent!

  • I don't get tired of listening this song over and over again.. Indeed, this song is a Treasure...

  • thanks for posting. I love this song way way back then, Eileen version is excellent.

  • An excellent video portraying a well-rendered song crying out for love. What a work of art!

  • Eileen was certainly underappreciated, and she should have received much more acclaim and recognition than she did. Prior to her solo career, she was a vocalist with the Charlie Spivak Orchestra out of her home town of Pittsburgh. What a great song this is!

  • thanks for sharing. beautiful song!

  • Great song and video...Thanks.

  • Along with "The Wall", Miricale Of Love", Give Me" and "Third Finger - Left Hand" the best of Eileen Rodgers. This lady should have sold millions of records in her solo career. Instead, a mere six pop chart hits. A tragically overlooked and underappreciated artist..

  • VERY ROMANTIC VIDEO!!!!

    Happiness as light as air.

    LOVE as DEEP as OCEAN.

Friends as solid as diamonds and

    success as bright as gold.

    These r my wishes 4 u today n everyday...

    hugs from the heart ♥

  • In addition to Eileen's wonderful version of this song are the wonderful photos

    included in the video.

  • Spent 9 weeks on the top 50 on CKWX 1130 AM in Vancouver, Canada in winter of 1958, peaking at # 8 for two weeks.

  • Thanks for posting! Was looking for her other hit, "Miracle Of Love", but it's not currently posted. But this was a good one too.

  • Not only is it better than "Miracle Of Love", it is

my favorite record from 1958, and almost my

    favorite record from the 1950's.
