antslake is right. If you fly the pattern you are supposed to fly this will not happen. My point was it does happen and that it was still not intentional. After 38 years of flying competitions and fly-ins all over this globe it happens. Always have and always will.
Unfortunately that is not true. Model aircraft have to follow rules just like full size aircraft. In this case there was a flight pattern we were supposed to be flying in, a clockwise circle determined by wind direction. The other plane as out of the pattern, which caused the accident.
haha. people who watch youtube videos of people actually doing things instead of sitting on a computer and then ridicule them with an ignorant comment are in serious need of their own hobby.
yes, the little magical midget pilot luckily survived and jumped right out before his radio controlled airplane collided with the other. Didn't you see the antenna from the remote?

Nobody is to blame for a mid-air in R/C flying. Try doing it on purpose....It is freaking hard!

LOL, someone thought it was a real plane!
And that laughter was laughter of nervousness, from the pilot who caused the crash. Nobody was smiling, it was a sad moment.

Kinda strange reaction by whoever is filming. Was it really that funny to watch someone die?

No, only one survived, the other plane was a total write off.
It took 40 hours of labor, and about $200 to get the blue one going again.
