We get tons of Canadians that cross the border for surgery the last quarter of the year because funding dries up and doctors go on vacation or have a practice in the states. All of it is moot. It is unconstitutional for the federal government to force citizens to buy a product. This is getting overturned. The Socialists are getting their ass handed to them this November and this horror story will have a happy ending.

I would have rathered they expand and fix Medicaid then force everyone to buy insurance and force a "one fits all" insurance policy. Philosophy: The government creates nothing. They market nothing. Their sole purpose, in an abstract sense, is to manage our money. If they were a for-profit entity, they would have been out of business long ago.
Fiscal conservatives do not believe in a strong central government because of the inevitable waste and bureaucracy. We don't want endless debt. It is fundamental.

This health care plan that Obama forced upon Americans is going to come back and haunt Americans and we will all witness this if we're still around.
The reason behind it, looking at it from economical POV, is that it will force the Corporations to raise the tax they charge their customers. It will systematically and indirectly have impact on almost every single American. There's companies that are cutting even more jobs to keep their profits afloat because of the Health Care plan.
