A pity that there doesn't seem to be any video with Japanese speech and English / German translation. You only get part of it. Eg the sexual connotations of Ranma's statement at 1.18-1.23 got lost in the English translation (though they are present in its German counterpart).

then you shouldn't be sad. The manga was vastly superior to the anime, as it is Takahashi-sama's work completely unbastardized. No shaky plots, no new characters, no old characters missing, no horrible art, no bad comedic timing, no disatisfying endings (until you get to the actual ending of the series, which sucks. Whatever you do, don't read the last page.) It was Ranma 1/2 the way it was meant to be... glorious

The reason for that is because Rumiko Takahasi wrote it that way. Ranma has black hair and a pigtail, however the girl that drowned at Jusenkyo had red hair and was most likely not a martial artist. Therefore Ranma Saotome turns into that girl, but keeps the same clothes, hair style, and knowledge of martial arts. Yes he is physically weaker in his girl type, but on the plus side he's faster and more agile. For instance his Kashu Tenshin Amaguri Ken A.K.A. Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire.....

The movie was a little cold! it seems like everything was automatic! it didn't have enough passion!

-the coolest fight was when Mouse saved Shampoo; my eyes watered when she held him.

-when Ranma rescued Akane it was same old same old! but soundtrack was exciting! Movie 1 had a lot of passion between them; I think movie 1 is better than this one!

It took me over a decade since seeing this to find that the voice actor (female) for Ranma is way too feminent; gotta sound more grouffy. And the parts were he says "get back here," and "get back here I said," doesn't really work. And what happened to Richard Ian Cox, or any other man to play the boy voice of Ranma in movie and OAVs. He should have played Ranma instead of the woman who played Ranma's boy voice in the beginning of the English showing of the show, OAVs, and movies
