This song make me a bit emotional as well. We were yearly pass members for a few years and I have fantastic memories of my girls having the best time at Wonderland with their cousins and friends. This song reminds me of walking thru the gates on the way home after spending a day having fun, exhausted but happy :) Good times and great memories :) Thanks Wonderland!
I miss this place, the day I got the 1-year family pass was definitely one of the best days of my life, and year full of days following that are sure to be missed. But not as much as the theme park itself. :'(
@PookiePorn No they're not. Wet 'n' Wild Sydney is going to be located in the suburb of Prospect and Wonderland was in Eastern Creek. The former Wonderland site is now a business park called Interchange Park.

@DaAussieDramaQueen The Bountys Revenge from Wonderland Sydney was taken down in November/December 2004 and sent to Sunway Lagoon, Malaysia where it was refurbished and reopened in 2005 as Pirate’s Revenge.
The Dragon’s Flight was sent in shipping containers toSunway Lagoon and reportedly repaired , refurbished and reopened in a new park owned by Sunway in Malaysia.
There is a good newspaper article on Wonderland History that says where most rides went after the park closed.
This makes me so sad ...
to see everything torn down like that and being broken apart ....
