This is irritating. PS. A lot of us Artists Draw by hand. How about some actual tutorials that show us Noobs how to take hand drawings and render them.

  • @satycorn chances are your image mode is set to grayscale. if you copied an image off of the internet that's black and white or something, it will have opened in grayscale. go to image, mode, RGB.

  • The only problem with 6:43 is that the last small porthole window is now smushed and out of shape in comparison to the other on the left.

  • @beejereeno That would be easy to fix by pinning extra points around the window and then making some adjustments.

  • @beejereeno Oh, OK I figured it out. I was using Puppet Warp on a sweatshirt which I was creating for a site for a client.

  • uhm im a beginner, how do you transparent a background? :))

  • @keithjon11 make a selection of the object u want to use in puppet warp make a new layer paste the object in the new layer then get wrid of the object in the original photo using content aware fill ,clone stamp tool etc.

    hope this helps u

  • @Styrecat All this tool will do is invent a new type of Photoshop Disaster, undoubtably!

  • So.. Could you get it working this good in Flash? Geez.

  • I don't know if I'd call it new tech, I mean you can do this with any old 3d software suite, but it's a nice application of old tech and a much more straightforward way of doing it to exporting, moving and re-importing

  • you can make a animation with this right

  • I had a problem.. what did u do to the mouse for make the rotacion? I try to do that but i didnt know how!

  • @faniithaa17 Push the Alt key (for Windows), don't know the button for Mac ("Option" key I think, or "Apple" key )

  • This seem more like a rip-off of the cinema 4D puppet, than an "totally new tecnology". Cinema 4D have had this for over 4-5 years now and cinema 4D does this 10 times better, and its not even an overpriced product. Dont see what you need this for, photoshop is more an editing software, this tool seem more likley for fun rather than for professional work.

  • good job.

  • Fabulous!

  • Please watch my photoshop tutorials :) and subcribe i will subscribe back Thanks!

And can someone send me a link to that picture i want 2 try it :D

  • nice tool but its to sensitive it keeps rotating my image

  • @nahumk222

to prevent that, press W on your keyboard and mask around the puppet. after that, select "layer via copy" and then it should be working.

  • when i try the puppet warp, it makes me do it on another layer( not background ). So i do. i put the points, and succesfully warp it, but after i rotate and warp it, the old form of what i rotated and warped is still there?? Whats the problem?

  • @jovanify Right-click the background layer and choose "Layer from background" first.

  • LOL wow everyone leaves huge comments so I guess I must now too.

People are relating to 3d because you can often add bone structures to a model to make it properly proform. And yes everyone and everywhere is always stealing our ideas, I had one day thought of extended visors and then bam now they exist, who would've thought...

I'm frankly jealous that I did not have the opportunity to work with this good of software back in freshman year, and just how much it has evolved over the past 4 years

  • @secretmode Why its been technology in 3D for ages, just looks cool and new cuase its 2d, look at 3d the animation is just by pinpoints, to simulate a pupet, but this is just converting them to pixils to 3d caculation there position then converting them back to 2d, prettyy cleaver and simple to, they stole my idear to, btw i had this idear when i was like 10 just i dint know how to program much back then....

  • Whats the big deal... iv dremt up of this technology years ago.... I was gona write it for a sprite character animation called walk cycle, lol finnaly adobe has done somthing simular to what i was always gona make! mabey they read my mind? oh and this technology been round for ages, think about 3D editing software, it works on the same technology on its 2d... and munipulates the pixils realtime just convers them to 3d then back to 2d again....

  • It"s NOT the SAME technology like in 3D. As you have to know there are XY and Z coordinates in 3D. That's only XY. Cannot "convert it to 3d and then back to 2d" it's not that simple. You cannot "add 3d" to a 2d layer. (some techniques like extrude, adding depth etc). But it adds only a Z depth, which is not useable in that case. The technique is closer to the mesh fill. In 3d you have polygons and nodes with XYZ coordinates.

  • Yeah you can transform object very fast in 3d, but it requires a swarm of nodes. In a pixel based picture, you dont have any nodes man... (for example cutting out a man with polygonal lasso) You will get 1 layer and nothing else. Illustrators node based mesh fill (like in all vector graphics application) is used in that techniqe (i think). You mentioned a 2d to 3d then 3d back to 2d conversion in real time. It would require a large amount of RAM and processor.

  • Did you ever used 3d application project with HUGE number of polygons, trying to make distortions like that? Don't think so.. The puppet warp is not been here for ages (nor the technique). It's BRAND NEW! (using PS since PS 4.0) And sorry about that, what you said is A JOKE, "adobe stole your idea, which you dreamt in the age of 10. If that would be true, you were the LEADER application developer at Adobe... And last: I didn't want to offend you, but your statements were wrong. (to my mind)

  • nice nice

  • lol! Photoshop/flash are going to 3D programs?

  • just like this just like this just like this......
