However, I definitely created this fan video. I spent many hours on it, but it was a lot of fun. Scott even mentioned my name in his blog post. I do appreciate that you want to stand up for him, and I can see that your heart is in the right place. I know that a lot of people post videos on youtube that don't belong to them.

One question though: Whenever I try somethign like this, if I say, move the mouth down or make the eyes smaller, it leaves white space, how did you combat this?

I used the original picture for a pretties project, because I couldn't find any other good pictures to make pretty. It's only for school though, so don't worry, i didn't steal anything. I edited it in photoshop and it's not half as good as yours.

Once the area is selected, right click and go to free transform. The one that will flip it is Flip Horizonal (or something like that). The one to change the shape is Warp.

Thanks! It was actually a project I decided to do for myself, it wasn't for school.

I used quite a few different programs. I used Adobe Photoshop CS3 for a majority of the photo-manipulation. The grid was done with Adobe Illustrator. The begining part was with Photoshop and ImageReady. I recorded my work with CamStudio. I used Audacity to record/manipulate my voice. In the end, I used Windows Movie Maker to compile it all.

Maybe I'll make a tutorial video if I have time. :)

Thank you! I'm glad you liked my video. I smudged the hair because I wanted it to look super refined- basically fake, to be honest. I created the features to look like I interpreted the characteristics of people from the Uglies universe to be. I also wanted a very noticable transformation.
