Malcolm X has been an inspiration in my life. The book brought me to tears. Here I am complaining about hardship and this man had it incredibly hard and still continued on his search for truth. You need more people like him in this world. People may criticize him for his speeches calling him a haters but he just spoke the truth. He will forever be remembered.

He fathered 21 kids. Many of those children filed lawsuits after Elijah died to seek status as his heirs, but the courts ruled against them. If you are a legal child from a marriage, the courts will honor that. Other than the kids he had with Clara, most of those kids are a product of infidelity.

Malcolm's brother, Reginald, lost his will after he was kicked out of the NOI by Elijah Muhammad and Malcolm's family, who were also NOI members, rejected him for having a relationship with one of the NOI members, which Elijah Muhammad preached against. Malcolm's brother was hurt and devastated and he gave up and started doing crazy things. So there were some issues in Malcolm's family. But name me a family that don't have issues or dysfunction, including yours.

Malcolm was very dedicated to Elijah and the NOI. He thought that Elijah could do no wrong. The thing was he put too much trust in Elijah. When Malcolm found out that Elijah was having relationships with young girls and getting them pregnant, which was the same reason that Elijah kicked Malcolm's brother out of the NOI for. Malcolm felt betrayed and lost faith and trust in Elijah's teachings. And then Elijah put Malcolm on suspension for making a statement about JFK's death.

The story of these "wives" has always been disputed as something the NOI made up. Elijah Muhammad never spoke about these "wives". He only acknowledged Clara, the mother of his 8 kids. He fathered 21 kids. Many of those children filed lawsuits after Elijah died to seek status as his heirs, but the courts ruled against them. If you are a legal child from a marriage, the courts will honor that. Other than the kids he had with Clara, most of those kids are a product of infidelity.
