I did, however, find the video presentation distracting. The transition between slides, the dissolve, takes almost as long as the image is present for. Essentially, half of the video is in 'dissolve'. Clean cuts to the next pic, with a slightly longer pause on each photo would be much better.
But this isnt about your skill as a videographer or editor, its about the chair, and what a good job you did.
Lovely music too! Who is it? I loved the video, although i was looking for how to reupholster a chair with a 'bubble' back, I think that's what they're called.
yes the stitched edge was thrown away as it was totally gone however so we replaced it with its modern day equivallent some people will only pay so much. It is still coil sprung, hand tied and stitched and filled. but hey it will outlast us all now thanks
coming from a 4th generation upholsterer w/18+ years not bad. too many butchers out there. i like how you gutted it instead of going over the top like all the other wannabes. 5 stars-bravo
