ok ime not a big fan of fair organs playing modern music but I must admit that the tune at 2:36 sounds very good. I like that!

Can't say I really like the more modern music that this organ has acquired in recent years...but that seems to be the curse of many organs now.

@MrVideoRater1 I wouldn't say it's a 'curse' at all. Modern music gets the younger generation interested which in turn means a secure future for the organs.

All the Searle family are doing is playing the popular music of today which is exactly what Gavioli's and Marenghi's were doing a century ago.

@StuartMulcrow For me, the whole appeal of a fairground organ is to hear appropriate period music. Music one seldom, if ever, hears anywhere else. I'm not totally against non-period music though, I've even requested Locomotion and the Skiffle Selection on the Anderton & Rowlands Marenghi!

Never-the-less, I still prefer Tom Varley's choice of music on this particular organ. Some of the more recent books of music are quite stunning though, so I do give credit where it's due.
