It should be alot easier to score when MJ is on your team and he's drawing attention from every player on the other team.Scottie is an all time great true but he's no where as good as Jordan. He reminds me alot of Lebron great in the open court, slashing,dunking and defense.Scottie had flaws too he was an inconsistent shooter and had no go to shot  just like Lebron. Unless you count his off the glass shot which was similar to Tim Duncan's. Only thing he was consistent doing was locking ppl down!

I really thought Ron Harper fit nicely on this team with his great passing and shot selection. Definitely one of my favorite under-discussed players. And I think Scottie Pippen is a close-second for best Bulls players behind MJ.

right-on rodzilla, what makes this so classic is the fact that scottie got most of his offense within the team concept, back-door cuts, moving without the basketball, using screens etc., it was a beautiful thing 2 watch & feel that scottie pippen is 1 of basketball's most unappreciated legitimate superstars 2 ever play this game

I remember this game!!! I will always love Scottie Pippin, even though MJ is the greatest of all time. Pippin would have been THE superstar on any team he was on during his prime. Pippin was so good, almost as great a dunker as Jordan, and actually during the last three championships, he was more explosive than Michael at times. His defense was amazing as well, him during the 98 Finals defensively was incredible, and if he didn't injure himself during that finals, he could have been the MVP.

Damn Right Pippen is the best small forward of all times. At 6'7" to 6'8" he could do any and everything. Not to mention, he is the best defender I have seen. He pioneered the point forward spot.

The amazing thing about this Bulls team was the ease of their play, everything looked so naturally, everything was in a flow. They didn't had to force the issue and toyed with their opponents at will. They were even better that the 72-10 team, only injuries and Rodman's suspension prevented them from winning 70+ for the second straight season, and Pippen was an integral part of it.

Wow, I would love to be at the United Center on any given night during the 1997 season. The 72-10 1996 season was the best ever in the NBA, but '97 was my favorite year because that's when I seriously started watching the Bulls.

Is this the game where Jordan faced up Stith near the top of the key, took one hard dribble left, spun immediately around him back to his right, then went up for a finger roll but was fouled by McDyess? It was either against Denver or Golden State; not sure if it was this game. Amazing move. You'd think after Pippen got about 10 baskets off the backdoor cut from the corner when the post was fed, that the Nuggets would catch on lol.
