Mate, Big Hits are excellent for their money, you can enter races, huck them and trick them, there very good all round downhill/freeride bikes. Whats the point spending over three grand on a starter bike? All the gear no idea comes to mind...... The 24" rear wheel makes them a hell of a lot more sturdy and solid rear end.

Yeah man, the 24" wheel is hella handy when u come short... Mine just dont buckle! Larvvv it, as for them being heavy... You need to get stronger mate, the weight seriously isnt a big issue..
