Im planning on making a midi synth, but i dont know where to start. We only have some basic knowledge of using fpga. do you have any kind of guide?

Great work! I'm relieved to see you had trouble with the sticking notes too...

I also had issues getting the harmonics to work right, pretty sure the problem was in the way I had the hardware multiplier set up to get the harmonic frequencies from the fundamental.

a usb port may not be able to give you the requested current. Try an other usb. I've experienced this with usb hard disks that are powered from usb. The hdd does not work on one usb at my desktop pc.

A hub has some usb ports, and under device manager you can see if it is (the hub) self powered and how much current is available for each port
