  • you have to get you head closer to the scope thats why you can't see anything

  • I've had one of the 4x FACOGs for about 4 years now and it's still running just fine on my rifle. The Bullet Drop Compensation marks are even accurate lol :) And it cost me 130 dollars from someone on ARFCOM back then.

  • All these negative comments about worthless this optic is, yet how many of you have actually given it a fair chance. I'm not saying y'all are wrong, but i know a lot of people who say if its "not top of the line" than it is shit. You may be right saying the scope is nowhere near the quality of the real thing, but for less than a 1/10th of the real price what do you expect.

  • So you have the money and the liscense for a real firearm, yet you cheap out for chinease replica when it comes to the optics? Whats next, you gonna buy plastic bullets?

  • how did the chinese knockoff acog cope with the real firearm?

im thinkin of getting one of these for a spikes tactical st22 and all the fake ones seem to say for airsoft only and i dont wanna buy it if its not gonna keep its zero or summit.

  • @bunnysniper22 lmao

  • lol my moms has a better stance numb nuts

  • Ok I am thinking of ordering this exact same Chinese knock off of an ACOG 4X32 and was wondering if it was adjustable because the website doesn't say and I was wondering if it was just a given thing and I am stupid for asking. Thanks

  • He needs to get his nose to almost touch the charging handle and adjust the stock not to mention get a better eye relief, looks like he had fun though

  • The real TA01NSN ACOG has really really short eye relief, you almost have to have your eye right up against it.

  • @hydrashok556 ya its annoying as hell but other than that they are great optics, and I love them, although I havn;t tried an elcan tet

  • So I was curious, if you have a magnifying scope (say a 4x32 ACOG scope) on an M16 and the front sights are still intact, will the sights get in the way of a scope? I have an M16A2 so I really wouldn't know.

  • i think the ACOG is suppose to view over the front iron sight

  • it depends on how high your front is and how low you set your scope. but usually the front sight its at most just a little blurry black thing in the bottom of the scope. with anything over a 4X magnifacation, you cant even tell its there.

  • You can't see it at all.

  • no it will "wash out" of your FOV if you focus on your TARGET. at 4x i have a fixed FSB and cant see the front post at all, FWIW hope this helps guys

  • if you attach an acog you arent able to use your steel sites, take a close look how it mounts, it uses a solid piece, my bro put an acog on his m4 and he cant use his iron sights but the magnification isnt that big on an acog so it's whatever your pref. is...if you attach a tasco, more of a long distance hunting site the mounts are usually made to accomidate for using the iron sights or the scope for long shots

  • @codzilla12 no, thwy are supposed to line up perfectly so looking through the sights and the scope would give u a great aim

  • @codzilla12 No they won't the magnification cancels out the front sight... I have an AR with front sight and use a 2.5 magnification scope and cannot see anything of the front sight. Holding a string 6 inches from your eye you can see the string fine, but if you bring it right up to your eye you cannot see the string, same principle...

  • @codzilla12 classic A2 front sight will not get in the way of the ACOG, but they still will be visible through the optic.

  • @codzilla12 yeah sure you do

  • @codzilla12 i think that with the magnification you wouldnt be able to see the front sight because it is SO out of focus, but if it was a variable power, if it had a setting for like 1 power

  • @codzilla12 no, the magnification pwer of the scope will have a minimum focusing distance which will always be greater than the distance to the front sight which means that you will not see the front sight and the scope will "look past it" to the target.

  • there is one problem....eye relief in the video is way too high... even the real steel one has only 1.5inch eye relief!!!! here it looks more like 1 feet!!

  • My real ACOG model TA33R-8 has 3.6 inch eye relief. I can have may head even farther then that. Its way better then the military models where you have to be right up on it all the time.

  • o nice didnt know that.... thx man

  • He can't see anything. I own the same copy, you need your eye against the thing.

RS is suppose to have more eye releif.

  • I disagree about the vertical grip replacement. Chris Costa got at least 5-7 inches off of his magwell to the front sight for stable supporting hand during high volume fires in CQC.

I used to have mine at least 3 inches, and thought it was all good "GEOMETRY", incorrect. Not saying it is "wrong" just incorrect because if you got too close to the magwell all you're doing in a situation where you need a folding bipod, retract your carbine stock back and make some space, what is the big deal.

  • LOL, nice fore grip placement... very "tactical"

  • @mrgearbox what's wrong with the PLACEMENT of the foregrip?

  • wow is it a cheap chinese knock off you get off airsoft gun websites? If it is then Im amazed that it still works after the 1st shot cos they are not intended for actual gun use.

  • You need to get a real one. Perhaps that's why you couldn't see anything. Getting a cheap copy just says I'm only getting this copy for the looks". Your just doing yourself a dis-service and your shooting skill won't improve. Also that front grip is too far up front forcing your stance geometry to be all wrong.

  • I just paid $924 for mine with a LaRue mount. Not cheap. But worth it.

  • "real steel" LOL

  • lol, real life cs

  • does it hold zero?

  • Am I right, that you used the .223 Rem ? How many shorts you have made already ?

  • I hope its been modded to a .308 because if the recoil control of the shooter is that lacking with only a .223 round then he isn't a very experienced shooter

  • Hi !

    IS it "reelsteel" ACOG ?

  • no it is not it even says in the video description
