TV38 is an independent UHF TV Station in Boston, Ma., the former home of a UPN Channel. TV38 was also the television home of the Red Sox, Bruins, and for a brief time, the Celtics.
i watched this show from day 1 when it aried and every night till the end when the four of them came out on stage and said goodbye .i cried my eyes out.i will miss seeing my idol alex p. keaton.thank god for reruns
The 80's and those days were just that, back in simpler times, when times weren't about shootings, crime, and you name it. 2010's here, so let's make the best of it. Sadly, there won't be no more TV shows like this one, or anymore of the 80's. The only thing Holly"weird" can crank out is those crime shows. The 80's had that too, Miami Vice, & a few others, but also Comedy shows like Family Ties. Shows now days have gone to kaploop.
I loved that show when I was a kid. I wish there were more shows like that today. If Family ties were adapted for today, Alex would be a far left liberal, and there friend Skippy would have to be gay, and Mallory's boyfriend would have to be a black man, and the parents would have to be villified for there narrow minded american values. What a great show that would be. Not!
Family Ties, The Cosbys, Growing Pains. There are no shows like these anymore. I'm starting to believe the crazies when they say that the big money who owns the television networks are trying to destroy the American family. Look at what we have on TV now....
@sumbuddy82 Now it's all risque comedies, medical shows, and reality tv...right? no such thing!!! That why I watch Nick at Nite. My only TV escape. The only times you saw somehing close to nudity was the TV mothers taking bubblebaths. Of course who could forget in 1984, second episode of "Who's The Boss?" Tony walking in on Angela, where she actually did film it buck naked. Other than that, very clean cut family entertainment.
In New York City alot of the tv stations are still here except alot of the good shows are gone now & now we get crap for shows. I haven't watched tv in years instead i come here to youtube every day & watch old shows on here.
Hey Fonzie.

Yeah...The American family is still here. But if people can't relate to their entertainers...then well...we're fucked.

And that was Dana Hersey narrating! The UPN network is no more, so good old TV38 is back as an independent station.
