  • Hey Fonzie.

  • Wow ...that's old lol

  • The show is awesome, and so is Michael J:)

  • TV38 is an independent UHF TV Station in Boston, Ma., the former home of a UPN Channel. TV38 was also the television home of the Red Sox, Bruins, and for a brief time, the Celtics.

  • I love the show. Cute promo.

  • i watched this show from day 1 when it aried and every night till the end when the four of them came out on stage and said goodbye .i cried my eyes out.i will miss seeing my idol alex p. keaton.thank god for reruns

  • Family ties is brilliant.

what's the name of the episode at 0:22

  • @14Tammi This is the episode 'I Know Jennifer's Boyfriend'.

  • Yeah.

  • The 80's and those days were just that, back in simpler times, when times weren't about shootings, crime, and you name it. 2010's here, so let's make the best of it. Sadly, there won't be no more TV shows like this one, or anymore of the 80's. The only thing Holly"weird" can crank out is those crime shows. The 80's had that too, Miami Vice, & a few others, but also Comedy shows like Family Ties. Shows now days have gone to kaploop.

  • I loved that show when I was a kid. I wish there were more shows like that today. If Family ties were adapted for today, Alex would be a far left liberal, and there friend Skippy would have to be gay, and Mallory's boyfriend would have to be a black man, and the parents would have to be villified for there narrow minded american values. What a great show that would be. Not!

  • LOL very true

  • lol

  • I used to have such a crush on Alex (Michael J Fox)!

  • what episode was it from 0:17 till 0:20?

  • This commercial came on the other day on FX.

  • i love to see Michael J.Fox in leather jackets.. he looks so... HOT!!!!

  • @namcy03, duh

  • some1 plz tell me what channel this plays on i have direct tv

  • Family Ties, The Cosbys, Growing Pains. There are no shows like these anymore. I'm starting to believe the crazies when they say that the big money who owns the television networks are trying to destroy the American family. Look at what we have on TV now....

  • Yeah...The American family is still here. But if people can't relate to their entertainers...then well...we're fucked.

  • @sumbuddy82 Now it's all risque comedies, medical shows, and reality tv...right? no such thing!!! That why I watch Nick at Nite. My only TV escape. The only times you saw somehing close to nudity was the TV mothers taking bubblebaths. Of course who could forget in 1984, second episode of "Who's The Boss?" Tony walking in on Angela, where she actually did film it buck naked. Other than that, very clean cut family entertainment.

  • this theme was used during the end credits then the warner bros. logo

  • but officially by paramount; but i saw warner bros. on wikipedia as well when i read family ties article

  • I love him. This' a remarkable show

  • I LOVE MICHAEL J. FOX! I'm a big fan! COULD SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHAT CHANEL THIS SHOW PLAYS ON!

  • @BASSASP, The Hub

  • Ah yes TV 38 Boston. Another great TV station that went down the crapper in recent years.

  • In New York City alot of the tv stations are still here except alot of the good shows are gone now & now we get crap for shows. I haven't watched tv in years instead i come here to youtube every day & watch old shows on here.

  • OMG MicHeaL J F0x Iss S00 Hottt=]

  • @XoLoVesOdApOpox, especialy when he is dress like a cute nerdy biker.

  • @XoLoVesOdApOpox, especialy when he is dress like a cute nerdy biker at 0:23.

  • michael j fox is sooo hot!!!!!

  • THANK YOU for posting this!!!!

  • The Republicans today should take a cue from Alex P Keaton...

  • The Democrats today should take a cue from Alex P. Keaton.

  • my love, my only love michael.

  • sha la la la

  • And that was Dana Hersey narrating! The UPN network is no more, so good old TV38 is back as an independent station.

  • Hey, do you know if Family Ties still comes on tv? If so when and what channel? I Love that show.

  • I remember Dana Hersey...I miss those days when he was hosting the Movie Loft.

  • That was for Family Ties on WSBK Boston.

  • I think that Family Ties was one of, if not THE, best sitcoms on TV...ever.

  • you are right, sir. best sitcom ever on tv.

  • 1 of my fav shows

  • I love this show so much!:)
