  • Looks like this service is another variant of the Rebirth Hall/Western Hall of Merits liturgical chants for the deceased in the Chinese Mahayana Buddhist Tradition. From what I heard, it sounds like the format used by the Dharma Realm Buddhist Association or also City of Ten Thousand Buddhas based on the chanting style and liturgical order. Nice video and effort for putting up some of the chanted verses.

  • wonderful, such a great display of eastern culture

  • thank you so much for uploading. This mantra is very helpfull.

  • THE GREATEST MANTRA: OM

  • @argentiniximo but i thought om is the opening of a mantra? example : Om Mani Padme Hum

  • Namo kwan shi yin pusa!

  • Wow that was very powerful mantra! I can feel my heart pumping the beat. I wonder if this is in Vietnamese n chinese chanting? just curious?

  • Thanks. I don't know bout vietnamese, but this is in Chinese though.

  • I usually hear this prayer when we're praying to the deceased for 49 days then I'll hear it again, the second year of the final reincarnation period.
