@wicca584, I own quite a few of these knives and I have to say that the handle is not to narrow its actually quite comfortable to hold. I do even carry one around for means of utility and if it came down to it also self defense..

I have a Frank B abalone stiletto and the button is so hard to push. It literally hurt my thumb and I can't fire the blade for the life of me. The first day I got it, I could fire it fine. But now, it's giving me trouble. Any ideas on how I could make the button easier to push?

They should not allow the manufacture of these muggers knives, They have clearly been designed with criminality in mind, A very slim body and blade to hind on your person or shielded in your palm, A fast spring assisted deployment, And some appear even to be double edged as well, Common sense would tell you that it`s not made for proper use, The handle`s to small for comfortable use, The blade width is to narrow, And being double edged makes it an out right weapon

cuz kris blades have the sharp edge on the outside. i like the bayo style blade. those nightrain 9 in. are decent for the pocket. i like my 11 in swing, with black bayo blade. i am getting a 13 swing FB w/ aga camponi blade. any thouhts on aga blades? BTW, kick ass collection!!!! 5 star group of blades!!

mine needs a repair, it is 9" italian stiletto made in Italy with white pearl handle. The spring came rusted and fall apart. I do not know if it is worth fixing it ? I am in central Florida. I do not know who can fix it for me.

@urkingod Depending on it's age and whether its real Mother Of Pearl or not or if it is a picklock with NS Bolsters, it might be cheaper to just grab a new one. They're priced well and I would probably keep the one you have and just grab a new one at a decent price. Look at Sharper Deals on the w e b.

I don't know, I don't have a stiletto, go look up some beltrame vids, so you understand how they work.

@TheDamage32 It all depends on the build quality. On my Italian swings you unlock the blade by pressing on the rear spine in the indentation just in front of the rear bolster. Rizzutos unlock to closed from open by pressing the button. Backlash, or power depends on the build quality and the width of the spine and spring. 5mm stilettos fire very hard from what I've seen. I have both and I'd say the 5mm stilettos fire harder than swings but swings have good kick and a sweet sound.

My Frank B stiletto doesn't shut properly..the blade sticks out about a centimeter. Not very noticeable but it bugs me because it feels loose. Any recommendations? Should I try to take it apart? Anything? Oh I have the 8'' tactical all black seen at 0:19

@mortar12 I agree, don't take it apart. You can send it to a custom builder who can tweak it fairly easily, but costs vary depending on several factors. If its a picklock I would have it tweaked if the tweak was reasonable.
