  • love it! i'm working on setting up my work area :) thanks for the video

  • I love this tour, makes me feel much much better. My work area is also messy. :)

  • thanks for the "randomness"..so very real. Luv it! everyone seems to clean up their craft room before they do a video...LOL! i sooo can relate to the back issues. great chair is CRITICAL. thanks so much!

  • fascinating..really :D

  • Thanks forgetting back to me, super clamps and a mono pod and ball head mount, and where did you find all this techie stuff?

  • @styleyourdoo Amazon . com :)

  • Awesome space - looks like so much stuff in a room that isn't really that big! Many great ideas for making the most of little space - and I am so jealous of all your supplies! I get my supplies slowly - bit by bit - because good quality stuff is just too expensive! Thanks again for sharing your craft space!

  • Mmmkay...thanks I'm only 14 and I love crafts!!(: just letting you know(: I've been wanting a cricut but when I heard you had a silhouette I was like...what's the difference.. Thanks(:

  • Well what is the difference in-between the silhouette and the cricut??(:

  • @7sillygirl72 Oooo, that's a loaded question. Your best bet is to google it. I have a blog post comparing the two. Just go to my blog and in the Popular Posts section in the center column, the post is called Cricut vs. Silhouette.

  • Haha so sorry just saw your cricut expression video!!(: thanks anyway(:

  • @7sillygirl72 Actually, I don't have a Cricut machine anymore. I have a Silhouette Cutting Machine. For the reason why I switched, you can go to my blog and read a blog post about it. It's in the center column under Popular Posts, "Cricut vs. Silhouette".

  • Question!!! Oh my I'm going crazy and can't figure this out(: haha what cricket cutter machine thing do you have ...sorry kinda of confusing. Some people call them silhouette.. And where did you get it??(: please explain or do a video on it or some thing?(:

Thanks- love your cards and all ur vids.

  • hello!!! i was just wondering.... what do you do with the thousands of beautiful cards that you make?? you have inspired me to start my own crafting space (there´s no extra rooms in my home jeje) I went to the dollar store and bought things for organize my things.. i have crayola stuff and mmm plain color paper... not much jeje but im startin and i am so exited!! greetings from mexico have a wonderful week

  • @klaudya149 I either send the cards to loved ones in the mail, or I offer to let my friends and family use them. :)

  • I would LOVE to do my projects in your craft rooom !

  • Hi Kristina, I'm going crazy searching for clues on what markers you use for inking your stamps (like how you did it in your MACM Congrats card posted on Nov 2008). I decided I should just ask you :p pleeeaassee help me out here will you?

Also, if I don't want to staple my ribbons down, will glue dots work the same? =) Thank you!

  • @voolala21 I use markers from Stampin' Up for inking stamps. As for the ribbon, glue dots are fine, but I think I'd staple the ribbon before using a glue dot. It seems more durable.

  • I love the randomness and chaos of your room. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who's room is like this. :D

    Cheers!!!!

  • I LOVE the costco paper rolling stand kart thingie....have you seen it any time recently there? I WANT!!!!

  • I don't know. I bought mine online back in 2006. :)

  • O.M.G ... I can't believe it! How do you guys afford all of this stuff?! Must cost a BOMB!

Over my side each plastic-stamp packet costs like $10! and in my country that is NOT Cheap :( !!!

You must earn a lot back from your card sales :) !

  • No, you have to realize that I work for a scrapbooking online store. I have to have these supplies for my work. An average papercrafter would have a much more manageable stash of supplies. :)

  • Ah I see.. thanks for informing me :)

  • Wow! what I found so hilarious was how you admit that it's messy. I love it though, it just looks like a paper crafters playground! Ok seriously, I heard you mention your back and how you paid so much for your chair. Where did you get the chair? I injured my back and have multiple discs that are herniated, had surgery and now a spinal cord implant so I hurt so much all the time and need a good ergonomical chair. So, where did u buy it?

Cool room, looks fun! Thanks, Julie

  • OMG! You have soooo much stuff. Do you have any money over at the end of the month? Hahaha.

I have the same thing. If it's not in my side I proberbly forget that I have it.

  • I was checking your working space out again today for ideas when I was reading all the comments and didn't see mine! I am sure I did leave one but youtube does funny things sometimes!Just wanted to say, thank you for showing us and I already feel better that my desk is not as messy as I thought , as some say:it is a creative messy'ness! Love all your work and you are just fab!

    Tassy

    xxxxxxx

  • how do you keep your nails so nice? (I've not done my nails for years since I began card making!)

  • can I ask you sumting?

i'm not from the us so im not familiar with all this..

    what do you work as??

im curious coz i love to do cards and craft but there's no job opportunities like that over here..

    that's so sad.. =(

  • Actually, I don't do crafts as a job. I'm actually a graphic designer and I have a day job in that field. Papercrafting is just a hobby. :)

  • Great video, TFS :) Though how do you store your patterned papers/packs?

  • I have a 12x12 drawer set in the closet where I keep paper. Packs I've just purchased I just stand them up against the leg of my desk so they're still in plain site. Easier to remember to use them that way. :)

  • This is some great solutions.

Can you tell me what the poll is called that you have hooked to your desk for your camera? I want to get something like that.

    Thanks so much!

  • It's a monopod. :)

  • Loved the tour! Thanks for sharing. I also enjoy the videos where you shows us your latest purchases. I hope to see more of those as well.

  • yay love to see other artists' workspaces! :)

  • station 7! you're a LOST fan AND a scrapper!! i looove you

  • As it is I have a huge room filled with tons of stuff. Now that I have sent my applic. to be a SU demo, I can't imagine what more things I will get into. We currently live in a 2/2 so I have to share my craft room with my office... but once we move to a 3/2 I will need to hit up Michael's & Ikea for more white storage... I definitely like the expedit wall shelf / desk area... it's something I wanted to get, but don't have the room for. My stuff is very organized & put away, so I never use it!

  • You have SOO SOO much stuff

I have like 1/100 of that

    So cool :D

  • where do u get all ur stuff there sooooooooooooooo cool!!!!!!

  • And I thought I had a lot of product. I have a spare bedroom dedicated to my craft room. I'm the same--if I can't see it, I forget I have it and don't use it. I have my room arranged so that as I sit at my desk, I can twist my chair around and reach everything I need on 3 sides of me. Works great. My best trick is to never leave the room with material I used laying out.

  • OK..where did you get the cute pink Big Shot!!!!!Love it!!

  • Love the video of your craft room. I'm redoing my sewing/craft room and now I have some ideas. Thanks :)

  • I didn't think your craft room was messy. It looks like its a creatively messy which I love because my room looks the same exact way!!!

I happen to think you are very organized!!

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Thank you so much for posting this video! I too, along with legions of your fans, have been dying to find out what your craft space looked like. It definitely didn't disappoint. Your space isn't messy -- it shows that a creative mind lives there. I don't know why there is such a fascination with craft rooms, but I love seeing how other people organize and craft. I guess it tells you a lot about what people value in terms of their craft items by their placement and use. Thanks for sharing!

  • It's nice to know that I'm not the only messy-ish crafter! Usually everyone has everything neat as a pin, but when I'm in the thick of it, it sort of looks like Beirut on a bad day.

I was wondering where you get your Kraft cardstock from. I can't seem to find it except by the sheet, which isn't very economical.

    Thanks!

  • thnaks so much. i always thought you were so neat! i want your stamps!!

  • oh girl you should see my room lol talk about messy scrap crap! but hey thats how we do it right lol

  • Awsome! Thanks or sharing! And.. that is what craft desks are supposed to look like :) You work is awesome ... and I have been wondering what your room looked like.. so ... Thank You!

  • Thanks for the peek! Doesn't look all that messy to me- you obviously have put things where you know they'll be when you need 'em. That's what organization IS! It's also impossible to craft when everything's in a drawer or on a shelf. Stuff needs to be in your hands or at arm's reach.

I used to have a mug that said "An immaculate house is the sign of a misspent life". Truth.

Let us know how the clip it up works out. I keep forgetting what I have- that may be a solution for me!

  • I also craft in kaos... but hey, it does work! :-) hehehe! Love that clip it up organizer. Where did you find yours?

  • I got mine at a local big box craft store. You can order them online, though, from twopeasinabucket . com

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOW! ur stamps, WOOOOWW!

  • Thank you for sharing and keeping it REAL. I have a large space and it is always full of my stuff out and not put away. THanks again for sharing.

  • thank you for sharing. i LOVE looking at scrap rooms.

  • Love your messy space. I wish I have one, I scrap in a little table at my room and I have to take everything out on my bed and I have to clean after, what I hate.

    Love your videos!!!

  • Love the mess! I scrap the same way! When I make mine all neat & tidy, I can't find anything Ha! Oh the Steelcase chair is worth the money. They are the best on the market and will never break or wear out. Used to sell Steelcase so I'm a little biased. lol!

  • gosh! you much have spent THOUSANDS!!! wish i had 1/4 of what you have!

  • Your a sweetie! Love all your videos and just LOVE seeing people craft art spaces! Yours is great and love that it looks like you really enjoy being in there. I did get some great ideas. I am now SOLD on the clip it up. Must get it! I have major back issues, surgery soon, so i am looking for that chair now too. Blessings and thanks!

  • I craft in a mess too...even when I start with a clean desk it ALWAYS ends up trashed. :) Thanks for sharing!

  • Oh I think it's AWESOME!!! Thanks for taking the time to make the video and share with everyone!!! Hugs, T

  • Envy your space! All my stash has to fit in a tiny cupboard under my stairs :(

    Thanks for sharing though. :)

  • Lov' ur room! It's a bit chaotic, but I bet u can find everything! Reminds me of...me lol.

    Greetings from The Netherlands

  • can you tell me what size your expedit shelf is??? it looks perfect for my scrapping corner.

  • thanx for sharing, and just like msoftbrn , i was was looking forward to it. I got really good ideas. Marjorie

  • I love your craft studio. It has given me some great ideas on storage. I think you have the perfect set up. Thanks for showing it!

  • I LOVE how you showed a "working" work space and didn't clean up before filming! lol Thanks for sharing it with us! :o)

  • What's sad, is that I did clean up a bit! LOL! :)

  • Oops....sorry!! haha

  • I love how you say buttons!

    Love your craft space!

  • Okay!. .thank you for that.. I have been looking forward to it... Now the question I have is where did you get the set up for your camera????..

Even though your space is small.. you have it in a workable way that works for you and that's all that matters.. I did pick up a few tips from this video though...

    Thanks for sharing!

  • I got the super clamps, monopod, and ballhead mount all from amazon . com :)

  • thanks for showwing your craft area , I tough I was the only one with a messy desk, now I feel better LOL!!!
