The concept that it was an uphill battle was not a preconceived notion for me, yet each day was indeed a struggle. After a few years, yeah, it wasn't in my mind 24/7, but I couldn't be around other smokers without wanting one. I quit when I decided to fast: the want of food was stronger than the urge to smoke... but one cannot fast forever.
U quit once that's nothing to sneeze at. Was still good job now U simply have to do it again. It gets easier after the first time but what they don't tell u is that it gets easier to restart the habit as well. lol
It baffles my mind that people in Canada show so much apathy for flouride in the water and government corruption. I don't watch cable T.V. at all and prefer not to because I just don't trust them anymore with their mind control technology. The way my uncle cut down on smoking was he calculate how much those cigs cost him and how much it was gonna cost him if he carried on. the number was massive so he cut down to 1 pack a day
and next month he should be on 3 or 4 packs a week

I stopped 25 years ago. I started at 13 and stopped when I started caughing and my throat was always burning. I did try many times before I stopped for good. I am finally free of nicotine since 1985. That makes me old!! But you can stop for good if you are really serious about your health. Unless you really don't care. My father died of lung cancer. That's why I stopped. Never quit the coffee. He could have hidden it knowing people would go down that rabbit trail but no , he is transparent as you can be that is partly why we love him. If you have never had an addiction, i mean a true addiction ..especially cigarettes then you dont know how hard it is to give up. But once you've been smoking for, oh, 20, 25 years, withdrawal is not unlike hunger pains. And smelling the scent of smoke is not unlike if you're starving, and you smell a big, juicy, hamburger. I quit once, for about 5 years, and at the first instance of real stress, my will broke, and I smoked again.
When you quit, it is an everyday battle for the rest of your life.

Drink Tea it will give you the same .... feeling minus the headaches. Coffee is a traet onc a month.. I quit smoking when the Day I started 5 years old my dad caught me and made me smoke th whole cigarette , sick as a dog never smoked again ..

Mexicans have a double standard: they are extremely nationalistic , but yet they demand to be accepted when they enter illegally into the U.S.A. and be given benefits, rights and 'equality' while waving the mexican flags in the illigal alien rallies...it's amazing how many americans support them knowing that they dont even have a 'right even to protest. if an american or anybody from another country would do the same in Mexico they would be arrested and deported. mexicans are xenophobics.
