Arzoyan, it is difficult to disagree with you. Capitalism and religion are two sides of the same counterfeit coin: promising dreams, based on nothing and proffered with the spurious authority of the confidence trickster. The situation is precarious and the need for the type of communities you envision has never been greater. But to achieve it we must find a way to wake people up from their dreams. They have to understand the danger they are in. In cannot be imposed or it wont work.
The monetary serfdom of immnese humanity shackled in a politically manipulated market system of artificial scarcity is the template of our common alienation, exploitation and suffering. Capitalism is historically outdated and a tyrannical imposition for minority private gain. A democratic, conscious, majority movement for a world of cooperation for our common needs and well being expressing our creative energies in a MONEYLESS,CLASSSLESS,STATELESS COMMUNITIES OF HUMNAITY
Thanks for your reply. I am going to read about the other women who you've mentioned. Ayaan has opened my eyes through her books and exposure through the Freedom From Religion Foundation. I am in awe of how intelligent and brave these women are.
@joyville2 - I think a great deal of her and of other outspoken Arab and Iranian women, for example, the author, Nawal El Sadaawi; the incredibly energetic campaigner Maryam Namazie and the astonishing Wafa Sultan.
These are real fighters in the thick of the battle, risking everything. They deserve more attention and support.

Rafiq, what do you think of Ayaan Hirsi Ali? I have read Infidel and am reading Nomad by her.
