@chalupa *SPOILER ALERT* Shang Tsung killed Liu Kang by snapping his neck in MK Deadly Alliance (MK5) and in MK Deception, Raiden, Quan Chi (That gray bald guy) and Shang Tsung (Guy in the red robe/armor/thing) had to team up and kill the Dragon King (3:17) but Raiden ended up killing Quan Chi, Tsung, and himself. When Tsung died, all of the souls he collected went back to their original bodies.........and thats why Liu Kang is a zombie.
