  • CANE TOADS ARE COMING!

  • my right ear enjoyed this most

  • I MUST see the sequel!!!

  • fucking stupid Australian , have forgotten that everything is balanced in this world , even insect plague

  • @tunkunrunk thats a bunch of bullshit

  • Comment removed

  • @tunkunrunk That is partly true, we introduced them into an environment thats perfect for them, and even worse they have no natural predators here that are immune to thier poison.

  • Thanks for making me watch this Mr. Cilley...

  • This movie is more quotable than most comedies.

  • A wonderful documentary. It is really more about humans than about toads. Those sweet mothers putting the toads into freezers or others gassing them so that they won't suffer remind us of some non too ecological episodes in last century's history. Really stunning!

  • Lick one of these bad boys to get highhhh!!

  • i can masturbate to this

  • @chai83x

The fact that you sarcastically wrote this suggests that you actually do.

  • Rofl, dude's steppin on tadpoles.

  • BEST. DOCUMENTARY. EVER.

  • Bufonidaephobia has to be pretty common in aussies!

  • european rabbits for fun, cane toads for pest control.

    way to go...

  • dont feel bad aussies we have em here in the states in florida bastards got one of my dogs sick and she died

  • an animal guy brought one of these toads in to show the class :/

  • worst thing they ever did.

  • cant wait to light up a joint and watch this XD

  • This documentary is hilarious. I've seen this a few years ago. There's an Australian junkie in this documentary, who boils the freaking toad and drinks it! He says it's hallucinogenic like LSD

  • 0:52, it's bloody huge!

  • i give incredible props to the director & editor of this documentary

  • We watched this in my AP Environmental Science class today. Suffice to say, it was more enthralling than Pre-calculus. (:

  • Law of Unintended Consequences apply here.

  • Doesn't australia have some kind of fish that can eat the tadpoles?

  • I'll tell ya what Australia should do, they should lift their ridiculous extreme regulations on importing and exporting animals and they should sell us cane toads as pets! Tons of peopel keep reptiles and amphibeans in North america and its catching on in europe too. We pay $60 here in pet stores for medium sized ones, and at the pet shows people regularly pay $200+ doallars each for the really big ones. I bet the problem would be solved quickly.

  • @Hashishin13,

    Agreed.

My uncle used to have a cane toad as a pet.

  • OWNED by Toads, mistake done by humans... and i thought the main problems for the people comes from dangerous spiders, snakes and other wild animals. Im glad to live in Germany, far away...

  • Saw this years ago!

  • Part 2:

And then there's the cane toad: Not only will they regularly have sex with dead bodies, but they'll even make sweet love to corpses outside of their species. Not just different types of frog, mind you, but animals that in no way could ever be mistaken as a former cane toad

the cane toad is a firm believer in the "hole is a hole" attitude, and an even firmer believer in the "if there's no hole, just make one with your boner" attitude...

    thanks for reading :D

  • Part 1:

In the study of animals, there's something called Davian behavior, which is just the polite way Science says "animal necrophilia." But this behavior is often a mistake -- some dumb, horny animal not realizing that hot piece of tail is more lukewarm, and literally just a tail,

continue reading on the next post :D

  • Wow! I watched this in 1988 and it's just as crazy as I remember it! Thanks for the laughs!

  • Wheres my nuptial pad? Can anyone point it out to me?

  • CRACKED

  • @Cruzito3000 What? Why do say that?

  • cane toads are cool

  • very unnatural indeed

  • Raquel Dexter's birthday has got to be a national holiday in Australia.

  • their skin could be made into excellent leather for purse and wallet. the meat is edible

  • Easily the greatest documentary of all time

  • Australians rule.

  • I found this video very informative and interesting. Thank you for posting it.

  • Watched this in bio today. Good times.

  • This documentary was mentioned on numerous occasions as one of JG Ballard's favourites.

  • What the hell kind of ppl are at 3:06, 'cause they sure as heck aren't Hawaiian.

  • LOL at 5:28 SECONDS in goodness, sweeter than bake sales.

    Great Documentary !!!

  • stupid australians. cane toads are wonderful. period.

  • @indigomuscles Uh huh. Because this documentary totally shows that all Australians hate cane toads.

  • toads looks scary

  • dr.bill freeman is not recognizing that he is killing the toads while he is stepping in the water, and some of the toads probably got choked by the net

  • This is a funny Documentary XD

  • stupid

  • AwEsOmE!

  • Scientist man does a pretty decent imitation.

  • I was able to find it in an educational video site a while back..Amazon might carry this as well. Great video, shown to AP Environmental Science students around the world...

  • what weird looking fucking things. Im so glad I live in england.

  • @patsyd80 - yet you have to contend with that most ugly creature, the pork pie.

  • @patsyd80 hey there are a lot of weird looking fucking things in England as well haha

  • oh man, i remember when i was little, tryin to kill as many as i could with my brothers, it was like a sport to us...I live in Queensland so they are everywhere...

  • It only secretes the poison under extreme stress or physical pressure.

  • @thewierdrandomguy - they can also shoot the poison over some distance.

  • i heard these toads are toxic.... i wonder if you start trippin ' if you lick them

  • LOL they made a sequel to this in 3D, it sounds sweet!

  • @JoeNostalgiaReturns were can you whach it

  • Might sound like a daft question but anybody tried eating them. Like the French with frogs leg.

  • Probably no and i wouldn't wan't to see anybody try.

  • @BlackCountryPuddler - some animals have started eating the non-poisonous parts, such as the eyes and the soft innards.

  • OMG We watched this in freshman biology. Really informative, yet oddly amusing documentary. In addition to excellent information about the effect of cane toads on Australian ecology, it also gave us the impression that there were an awful lot of weird Australians :P Although to be fair Americans are just as weird, if not weirder.

  • @chocoturtles Dr. D ?

  • @chocoturtles i just watched this in my bio class as well. WAT THE FUCK.

  • Comment removed

  • I HATE TOADS.

  • Thanks for uploading this I was looking for it on DVD. I've heard that the indigenous Aussie wildlife are slowly learning which parts of the toad arent poisonous so they can be eaten which is some good news. bad news is their numbers just keep growing & growing & they've invaded northern NSW now. Man's stupidity!

  • cane toads are disgusting and you should run them over with you lawn mower kill the little bastards

  • God damn cane toads are annoying. My aussie friends are always out each night hunting the bastards as they get into their lawn.

  • @Hissanrach Yes but, who brought the bastards to Australia? They didn't go on their own.

  • SUCH A FUNNY MOVIE

  • hahha, i love this, watched it in environmental class. can't tell if its supposed to be funny or not, but its is

  • looks like you attend calabasas high ms Daniel's is it?

  • no actually, but im surprised other schools watched this hahah

  • I saw a program where Andrew Zimmern went hunting for cane toads with some guy, and then cooked them for dinner.

  • Thank you for uploading this, it cost $69 on Amazon! Ridiculous!

  • why was the man arrested?

  • legendary

  • i saw this today in environmental science. it was good. i dont know if its supposed to be funny at atll-but i laughed so hard i cried

  • I wonder if that scientist has gotten any "Toad lovin" with that call?

Looks like his Dad might have.

  • omfg that shit is ugly!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for putting this up! I had seen it in college and wanted to share it with my students.

  • THANK YOU for putting this up!

Does anyone know where i can get a copy, it's actually pretty rare...

  • On Amazon... for 45 bucks (!)

  • It was briefly available on DVD, and my copy is taken from a VHS release so there are probably a few of those still kicking around. Try online auction sites.

  • @Toddysfins I was able to watch this on DVD

  • Net Flix has it.

  • @AmeliaaMae

Look everywhere else first, but if you cant find it legally anywhere or anybody to buy a copy off of, it's uploaded onto thepiratebay. You can download it off there for free

  • @AmeliaaMae Lots of schools have them.

  • @AmeliaaMae DUDE i saw this in High school and still remember it! it was on VHS and i wanted to go back to see if i could keep the movie! hahahaha im so glad its up now!! i love the way they made this documentary! xD

  • ound a copy of this on VHS and it blew my mind! I was going to put it on youtube because it is so hilarious and weird, sooo glad to see you already did

  • Don't you touch my bloody toads... THEY'RE FRIENDS!!!!!

  • if i could go bac i would shoot that bastard who released these toads in the bloody head

  • I loved this documentary when I was a boy.

    Thanks for posting.

  • this is SO weird! i lived with this girls' mom for a few weeks just outside of Atherton! She's super awesome and is a wildlife carer who takes care of Lumholtz tree kangaroos! Its weird cause there are posters of this girl and toads around the house! Invasives are a hard thing to deal with, and I'm still unsure on the ethics behind it

  • Invaders must die!

  • hahaha, i sow this in Environmental Class at Uni, man, it was a bit disturbing with the little girl playing with the toad. It is a huge problem considering it's killing allot of our wild life and disturbing the balance of the ecosystem.

  • Greatest movie ever!!

  • fuck yeah cane toads

  • I had to watch it too...its great for infomation... nice...keep smiling

  • My favorite documentary ever. Awesome!

  • Our class watched this in science last year. Swear to god, its the funniest thing i've ever seen.

  • Same here! We had to watch it in my sophomore year of high school!

  • thank you!!!!!!!
