We have hunted whales for hundreds of years and almost always kept the same quota until few years ago (about 30-50 years) because people outside Iceland are getting more interested about whales and want to taste them. Because we are a country with many natural resources, but not so much money, we have to sell others what we have. That is the main reason why Iceland has become so advanced.

I am not disgusted by this video and as an Icelander i feel the need to protect my countries heritage. We have hunted whales for hundreds of years and almost always kept the same quota until few years ago (about 30-50 years) because people outside Iceland are getting more interested about whales and want to taste them. Because we are a country with many natural resources, but not so much money, we have to sell others what we have. That is the main reason why Iceland has become so advanced.
