When i was at summer camp we had to hike into lava tube caves, and the camp counciler said he was freaked out over caves because he saw the decent, so the whole time while we were in the dark cave he was talking about it and he was freaking the whole group out! it was so funny though..

They never needed to set the movie in America. It was already painfully obvious from the first exterior shot of "America" that it was NOT the Appalachians and that it was the UK. It was just an excuse for the director to take cheap shots at America as the only times the country is mentioned is in a condescending and caustic manner.
