He even lied about where he went to school. Its just a fantasy of a crazy old man. They said it would be done by 2008, then in 2008 they said they would be done by 2010, they have not even approved land for the building as of today. Dubai owes more money per capita then any country in the world. They are broke.

@nizmojoeblows i had no idea, but that is interesting to know. i guess we can conclude that people certainly can dream. as far as im concerned the buildings in beijing during the olympics arent necessarily beautiful considering how it impacts the environment. the engineering that had to go in the CCTV in particular is amazing due to the mega-cantilevering to which was skeptical during design. but hey, its built :)im not pro w/ this style, its just cool to look at theoretically.
