i have downloaded file by pressing that purple arrow..

but when i try to install the ak-47.. i put all from the rar folder in df2 folder

and open the ak-47 install thing and press install ak-47 but after nothing more happends what is it i do wrong? sorry bad english :(

there is a buttom that say install ak-47 but when i press that nothing happen what is it i do wrong? plz awnser :> or you can maybe make a mini tut how to do?

@DennanSkoglund Did you click the Download File button? It has a little purple arrow? Could be your browser your using. It should ask you where to save the file dude, then you be able to save it in the df2 documents folder.

@bravo45th yeah I agree, half life was like The Best fps out there but df2 was like the best military combat shooter. Sure, mission editor was almost perfect and even a casual gamer could design pretty decent missions within 30 mins. Oh and thumbs up for the vid mate!

okay...let me enlighten some of the younger people who don't actually know why this game was THE best Fps...firstly, before going into a mission, you could actually pick and chose your weapons and gear, the way you wanted it, eg...you could be a sniper or a close quarters gonzo or tactical assault operator. secondly, the guns in this game were actually very good, the physics were fantastic, you had 'bullet drop' and tracers too. Lastly, the missions required actual deduction and tact!

@21crescendo Don't forget a mission editor....it was because this type of game was advance for its time. I'll have to not agree with physics though, sorry the best game with physics was Half Life. But all the other comments I'll agree with.

Actually what made this game the best was the multiplayer...

Multiplayer was wicked...you could spend hours alone on the game..

This really brings back memories. When I was a kid I played this game for like 12 hours a day i couldnt stop. And when i saw those terrorists with the ak-47 I just wanted to see and use one i became so vicious i kept looking for games with the ak just to use it. that game is the reason why the ak-47 is my fav weapon right now.

Hi, just a quik help question.

I installed DF2 recently (Fuck yeah!!) And I downloaded the latest updates etc etc, disabled firewall.

But it just won't play online, it keeps saying error connecting to Novaworld.

Any advice?

Hi, yes it does work, you need to go onto novaworlds website and download the latest "patch" to go online. Becuase they moved their servers else where.

I was playing only, its still got around 200 people online at all times :)

Oh and by the way, the color isn't the best, but your video is very smooth looking, much better than mine. What video editing software do you use? I know you must use something other than WMM to get that text up in the message box like that. I myself still use WMM, sometimes maybe some Vegas.

I actually dont like that ak47 gun sound I like the other sounds like how the ememy's gun sounds of their ak's in the game. Is there anyway to get a different gun sound of the Ak47 on DF2???
