brilliant ... what i dream of making if i had skills ... been trying to work in a cello fretboard on one of my comparitively pitiful frankenstein creations, but never thought of bowing that bit. One of the things about using 'color' instruments onstage is there's usually only one color to work with per. This does the work of 2 or 3 at once. Great work
Hey there's a broken sitar at my local pawn shop, do you think it's worth buying to try and modify? Oh and what strings did you use? Please reply dude your video is awesome!
dude you have a few things going for you, you're probably smart as shit cause you built a sitar that looks like a manufactured instrument, second, you know how to play the sitar and probably a few other instruments, and you can play the sitar with a bow, my hat's off to you man. keep on jammin, music keeps you young.
Yes! I'm so glad you finally posted it! It's sounds amazing, but the concept is even more brilliant than the beatiful tone. The coils are genius. Love that clock effect. I wanted it before, but I really want to buy it now!
What do you have it tuned to?

It's rather similar to a dilruba or a sarod than to a sitar...

That's a very interesting construction you've got there! Did you make it after any plans, or did you just improvise?

that's cool instrument but I'd give it an original name. Reminds me of a banjo with the capabilities of a violin.

This is closer to a dilruba or esraj.
...which is a cross between a sitar and a sarangi.
