This brings back memories. I lived in Salt Lake from February 1971, until October 1995. I'd say it's changed so much I would have trouble finding my way around:)
salt lake has some of everything...distinct seasons of the year...an abundance of the arts in every medium....world class symphony, ballet, opera....dance and stage productions....more creative people than anyone would believe...espeically in music and visual arts....salt lake is one of the nations best-kept secrets, now better known since the extremely successful olympic winter games of 2002....alpine winter sports, also college football and pro basketball....it's all here! come and see!
salt lakers are very friendly people...in fact, i've been many places and have never heard anything but good things about salt lake, utah and the people here
salt lake's biggest snowstorms often come with what we call the "lake effect"...that is, a storm front passes over the vast Great Salt Lake and picks up extra moisture and then typically dumps large amounts of dry Utah powder along the Wasatch Range of mountains at the east of Salt Lake City. Snowbird, Alta and Brighton ski resorts are very close to downtown Salt Lake. And I assume you meant is SLC cool, laid back, trendy or classy? I'd say it's all of the above.
I'd kie to come over to the states of day and experience the great state of Utah. the nature seems very mixed so to speak, cause I've seen pictures with both desserts in Utah and mountains with snow and green forests. Salt Lake City looks spectacular with all the mountains around it!
woow.... this is beautiful. reminds me so much to live there. a year away from Salt Lake City. but your video is beautiful. Happiness is a great job.

does slc have snowstorms in the winter like say, chicago or NYC? Would you call it cool, laid back, trendy, or classy?
