  • the E7#9 chord is very common in certain types of music, like bossa nova, samba or even jazz.

  • what is that first chord you strike before they start singing?

  • @TheMaddenfan123 That's an E7#9 -- commonly referred to as "the Jimi Hendrix chord."

  • I know a guy that had a redtop les paul from the 50s he sold it for $5000 that was back in the 70s I liked the neck it was like a jazz guitar but the bodies are to small for me another guy has a gold top les paul like dellaney from the 60s

  • do u come up with ure own stuff cuz that would be awesome man to see u play some of ure stuff

  • do u come up with ure own stuff?

  • Hi, have you burstbucker pro pickups on your les paul ?

  • @MrSeb92100 490/498

  • hi , Have you Burstbucker's pickup on your les paul ?

  • Have you ever considered lessons?

  • u should do steppin out by john mayall and the bluesbreakers

  • @LobaKluh I think he waved a newspaper at it until it was housebroken.

  • @12stringsforme And I rubbed the headstock in its own poop.

  • Thanks a lot for all these songs man! Easy to learn and gives fun on my French Sundays mornings!

    Keep the note!

  • Cool, good work for a song I assume was learnt quite quickly. I listened to this song this morning and then this would be one of my recommendations when i logged on.

If you don't mind indulging me, do you have a way of learning how to play songs other than by ear? I usually try to figure out the key to songs first, and I wanna say d minor or e minor here, but you move from d to e with the chords, and the solo has quite a few accidentals.

    Hope that makes sense.

PS. I have that guitar. Sick!

  • @GeorgeCassells I posted a video of the Stones' Soul Survivor, and I kind of explain how I learn by ear. I play the song for the first time in the video, just learning it on the fly.

  • Very nice work. Not criticizing but you don't have the single finger vibrato the same as Clapton / Page where the whole hand rotates. I could never get that vibrato either but unless you are a real guitar geek you can't tell the difference.

  • @mul211 I'm crushed to hear that I don't have the same vibrato of two of history's greatest guitarists. Gee, I thought I was right up there with them.

  • Wow, really refreshing to hear this. Thanks!

  • 2) And I think Dream On is one of the greatest songs of all time. Even if you just did a cover, I could probably learn it from watching you. I can't quite learn things yet from just listening to them but if I see where the hand movements and shapes are for chords, it really helps and I've learned a couple easier songs off you that way that you didn't make tutorials for. Anyway, thanks for the awesome lessons and vids otherwise and for helping my guitar skills progress.

  • 1) Nice I love this song, possibly my favorite by Cream. Any chance you'll be doing a Dream On cover anytime soon? I'm amazed you don't have one already. That, like I Feel Free, is perhaps my favorite by that respective band (although Sweet Emotion certainly rivals it, which I learned from you and thanks btw for that). A tutorial on Dream On would be pretty sweet right after you covered it too, I've tried learning it a couple times but have never come across suitable tabs.

  • nice i love this song

  • This is soo good Thank you You rock.

  • cool !!!

  • @LobaKluh Yes.

  • flashbacks.......

  • That's a very nice Les Paul!! Which model is it? :)

  • @horsecoollover19 Check my channel, where I've posted a video of all the guitars I have.

  • Excellent

  • Great job man!!
