I knew that she had lost someone she really loved. and I felt that in my heart. Now that I'm 17 and I've played the game again... when the ending comes.. I still cry..

@shadow5273 I like both, but here is where personal taste will split our opinions. I loved the grid system in this game, and the art style. FF7 is the match that set the fire, and from there on it has been imitated to death, but FF10 stands as the LAST great final fantasy game. Most of us dont want to accept it, but FF wont ever be this good. Which is understandable why they want to sell an HD version of this. Its like sayings, "last chance to hold on to it, however you can."

I recently re bought this game and couldnt stomach beating it. I have all characters at superior levels and with Hp break DMg break etc. so i would most definitely pwn Jecht like I did years ago.. but to watch this ending again... dammit I couldnt stand to do it... it gets me every time :'( Felt like you truly did go on the adventure with all of them and to watch Tidus go and here Yuna say she loves him.. would make any human being emotional. Beautiful story.. Simply Beautiful

I love Final Fantasy for the stories they tell. They are put together in a way that is believeable to a certain degree.Except for FF9. That was kinda stupid and cartoony. It wasn't a terrible game but it wasn't good either. FF7 and FF10 are my favorites though I hear FF13 Versus is going to be spectacular.

I think the way the story goes is,Tidus' existence and all the other Zanarkand people depends on the existance of Sin. So once Sin was killed, there was no point anymore to their existence. That's why he faded away. Really sad though but great ending.

Well kind of, but he's not an Aeon in the sense of Valefor etc. Aeons are dreams of the Fayth, and so is Tidus, so they're similar but not the same... I hope that makes sense

@TheForeverRemedy During the machina war, the leader of Zanarkand, Yu Yevon, took its surviving citizens and made them into Fayth so they could preserve Zanarkand's memories through their dreams. Tidus and Jecht were both memories of these Fayth. To kill Sin permanently, the Fayth had to be killed, thus releasing them from their dreaming cycle. Tidus and Jecht disappeared along with them.

I actually feel the most pity for Tidus. He was living his life and then got sucked into some monster that became his dad then had to go on a life-threatening journey then basically destroyed himself by coming up with plans to kill Yu Yevon and stop Fayth's dream (him). He hid it all and wanted the best for Yuna. He's the one who tells them to stop the cycle with killing summoners and leads them to the right path. And in the end he can't even be with her, and sacrifices his life with a smile.

Squaresoft did a great job on this game and all the previous FF's. Square took a wrong turn when they joined with Enix which resulted in an online game.

this is the best game of all time that make a big importants in my life, but when Tidus disapeared into thin air leaving Yuna without saying ''I love you'' that deep inside hurt alot. but as soon as I seen Tidus swimming up from deep underwater I knew that the story isn't over yet. so maybe in FFX2 he will say it to Yuna and will always be at her side.
