@sarahnoreo felting is what happens to wool when you wash it with hot water and agitation, it gets smaller and the stitches dissappear.

What size needled did you make this with, and what were the dimensions before felting?

The dimensions are a good guess as I don't remember, I made this from my own mind and I used two skeins of some yarn I was gifted with. I would say the case was about 20 percent bigger! RIght now is about 18 inches across, so it was about 22 inches or so!
