What are you guys talking about? Push notifications IS available for iphone 3g running 3.0 The option for notifications is not revealed until you install an application that uses them.

go into setting and hint its not under battery its under i think options the select on for battery level!!

it's only available if you have an iPhone 3GS or an unlocked iPhone. Reeeally stupid of Apple to only let it be available to iPhone 3GS users.
