I has a question. I need some help learning this. I almost have the intro done but I could really use some pointers. Primarily finger potions for speed and whatnot.
i've probably watched this video a hundred times trying to learn it. i'm up to 1:03, so wish me luck. one hell of a song to try to learn. it'll eventually be up on my channel along with all of my other covers. determined to learn this one : ]
if anybody wants to know how to download this program or download MIDI Files into it please watch my video on it!! AND i can show you how to unlock the FULL VERSION that allows you to see SHEET MUSIC. JUST WATCH MY VIDEO
hey do you think you could get the assualt theme from ffx i love that song and for some reason the sheet music wont print lol.. thanks for the songs btw they are awesome
i've always wanted to play tis on the piano ever since i heard the music. but i know i'm not good enough cuz i've only been taking piano lessons for 1 year. and i haven't even finished playing final fantasy X " To Zanarkand "
Don't feel too down about that. To Zanarkand is a pretty complicated piece in itself, even if it is slower. all those triplets still kind of give me a headache ^^;;
indeed, i actually don't play piano, but i took my time (looots of time) and now i am able to play it too like the middle, but hey its just a party playing this stuff^^
Thank you very much for the upload... Synthesia doesn't like to work with my new monitor so I'm having to rely on Youtube Videos for tutorials. Which is just about as good!
I have just finished learning To Zanarkand a few days ago... I thought that was hard but this is insane lol! I'm going to give it a shot though as it's a really nice theme! It'll be a positive addition to my somewhat, depressing library of played excerpts xD
hey, I have a question. I downloaded synthesia, and I was fiddling around with it to like get to know how to use it, and at first the keyboard was all white, but then when I played another song, there was only an octave that was white, and the rest was grey. What the hell?
MisterMoes, could you upload a song to synthesia called Moonlight Sonata Third Movement(Presto Agitato) it's in a site called ourlittleplace . c o m / m i d i . html .....I had to place spaces coz I guess you can't post links
You need a 88 keys keyboard to play this, at 5:50, you can see about how many keys are required, and it goes even further down at 8:42, down to the lowest D# and up to the the highest F.
@delacruzkid i'd say full 7 octaves, meaning seven times from c - c ;) most keyboards are measured by octaves, so a keyboard with 55 keys equals 4,58 octaves (55 / 12keys) -> so: no, you can't play the song as it is.
you'd have to cut the long range triols or something like that.
atm trying to learn it it's possible yes.. but i play the piano now 10 years .. fucking amazin! love all the final fantasy themes.. i also play to zanarkand its so beautiful to listen!
This song rules! Btw, if anyone wants to learn this song don't think you can't. I've been playin piano for about 6 months now and i can play upto 0:55 seconds at full speed. So just have a try.
The program is called synthesia (use google) and the file can be found in the description (the midi file).
Forget about playing this piece if you are a new beginner. Start with something easy. If you want it to be Final Fantas: To Zanarkand would be a nice piece. That one is also hard for a beginner, but is doable with some practice.
Wow, it doesn't look like such a hard task to learn how to play this when it's slowed down! I'm gonna try my hardest to learn it! This helps alot too cause I can't read notes, I play by memorization! It will take awhile but if it works...it'll be worth it =D
sound like playing a game with lag
siuol0002 5 days ago
@charliebucket51 Yes it is. It's more complex than you'll see some internet piano players perform as it includes all the grace notes too.

Triplets? Are talking about the Piano Collections or OST arrangement?
AlesandrosX 2 years ago
nobuo uematsu[the composer of most of the final fantasy ost, including this one:)] tends to use triplets in his songs a lot..it's a pattern of his xD
aurazillian 2 years ago
Nobuo Uemastu uses triplets mainly in his melodies-but definitely not limited to just the melody. I have played many of the pieces he has written. . .
I was talking about the Piano Collections arrangement of "To Zanarkand" which has a measure or two with 16th note triplets. . .

Listen to it in faster motion and it will sound better.
Or watch someone else play it.
