Don't feel too down about that. To Zanarkand is a pretty complicated piece in itself, even if it is slower.  all those triplets still kind of give me a headache ^^;;

I have just finished learning To Zanarkand a few days ago... I thought that was hard but this is insane lol! I'm going to give it a shot though as it's a really nice theme! It'll be a positive addition to my somewhat, depressing library of played excerpts xD

You need a 88 keys keyboard to play this, at 5:50, you can see about how many keys are required, and it goes even further down at 8:42, down to the lowest D# and up to the the highest F.

@delacruzkid i'd say full 7 octaves, meaning seven times from c - c ;) most keyboards are measured by octaves, so a keyboard with 55 keys equals 4,58 octaves (55 / 12keys) -> so: no, you can't play the song as it is.

you'd have to cut the long range triols or something like that.

The program is called synthesia (use google) and the file can be found in the description (the midi file).

Forget about playing this piece if you are a new beginner. Start with something easy. If you want it to be Final Fantas: To Zanarkand would be a nice piece. That one is also hard for a beginner, but is doable with some practice.

Wow, it doesn't look like such a hard task to learn how to play this when it's slowed down! I'm gonna try my hardest to learn it! This helps alot too cause I can't read notes, I play by memorization! It will take awhile but if it works...it'll be worth it =D
