Here in NC there are people being laid off in doctor's offices, school teachers, banks of course, and all the business service sector jobs. It's a miserable time to be graduating college with little or no experience. The only jobs I've seen that have some growth may be programming.

Here in New York State, The last job I worked at was for an aircraft service company as a ramp agent. That particular company I worked for provided me with a starting pay of $8.50 an hour. Back in 2005, the range/average hourly pay as a ramp agent was $11-$14 an hour. Why is it that average or range of pay rate decrease (at least) over 25% within a 4 year period?

Yeah, we are in the Bailout Bubble right now, but Obama pulled another Bubble out of his sleeve. Presto chango the Cap n Trade Bubble.

This Bubble will create financial markets to trade carbon credits. A new Casino for Wall Street investing in such things as Carbon Sequesation. What's that? They plan on filling the earth with excess C02.

I kid you not. To do this for one power plant alone will cause hundreds of billions of $. And guess who foots the bill?

I live in the Boreal Forest, which is a hugh carbon sink. Does that mean I'll be getting a cheque in the mail? I could use one to pay my bills.

In the enourmous Cap & Trade bill a lot of people are going to make huge amounts of money out of it. I don't know if they will just mail you a check, but it would probaly be worthwhile to look at it and see where in this you might get your chunk of the pie.

This is the Goverment throwing out a big piece of meat and the dogs will fight over over it. LOL

Another idea is to get a degree/trainings in something you can use even if it's not for a job. Learn how to do something that you currently have to pay money for: computers, plumbing, electrician, mechanics, nutrition, cooking, farming... ect. Point being, you likely won't get a job now but you have the qualifications if something comes around n the future and in the meantime you can use your skills to save money on your own stuff.
