Quess that cat thinks the sitar is alive and responds to him when he bites the strings a little. Strange eyes when he`s done that nd listening : ) like what`s in there... a little curiousity, a little like cross, and a little something that humans don`t understand... thnx, nice, magical.!
Notice how the cat doesn't stop pulling the string until the sitar produces a sound?...That amazes me, such a beautiful combination between a curious creature and an exotic spiritual instrument.
Apparently to me, this kitty would like to hear someone playing some nice music on sitar. Since music is a language of emotions, I believe that God has made humans for playing music, and I can see that cats, dogs, parrots, horses and all other kinds of animals that can live close to humans, are also made so that they can enjoy music and emotionally response to music.
that cat is telling u something man either u need to play that sitar or play the notes hes playing and put them into a song, animals can communicate with humans to they arent just some animal its your pet and some people think of them as a companion and friend
u never know u could get rich off of the notes ur cat plays or maybe its telling u to play more its a relaxing instrument and it just laying on the floor isnt doing it any good
I don't know why this cracks me up...but it does. Every time the cat hits a note it looks at the camera like it just did something really spectacular.
My cat can beat me at chess! I think this is how Ravi Shankar taught his daughter to play! The first Two notes this cat plays are the first two notes of one of my favorite ragas oddly enough!
I would not be surprised if that cat was some sitar player´s dog in India in a past life and just feels this familiarity with the sound or something... probably some melancholic feeling. the call of his master.
i wonder what john cage would think of this. it's a shame he isn't around to see and hear it. (come to think of it, the cat may have BEEN john cage in a previous lifetime.)
This is so good. She needs a bit of practice but you can see that she already has mastered the inner qualitites necessary to be a real maestro. Shankar, watch out!
i think she's looking at nothing, perhaps it's just that the sound of the sitar reminds her of something, and like humans, when she thinks she just stares at nothing... concentrating on the sound
I like the way she plays a note or two, then stares at you, as if waiting for your expression of approval.

well you want to keep a sitar on the ground apposed to leaning against something so it doesnt fall because its akwardly shaped

That little girl cat knows exactly how to get the most pleasing tone out of her instrument, I wish that I could say the same.

Like a true artist this kitty is pensive after every note created. Perhaps she is saying "Where does all this come from...why am I here?"

Very contemplative cat. Plucks a note, and pauses to appreciate the effect. That is intelligence. This artistic cat deserves a treat.

My fellow said that the little beastie is looking for a reaction, I disagree, I think that she genuinely digs the full effect of that note.
