I really love that game but the voice acting is terrible! If you ask me it's even worse than the voice acting in the German versions of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-Games...

But that's really the only bad thing about this game!

@TheJman423 The worst I've ever seen, Men of War Vietnam seems better but then I've only played the NVA side so far and I don't speak Vietnamese.

It's very repetitive though, they always say the same thing but at least I know when the VC have spotted an enemy.......

I can't seem to pass this mission. I throw the grenade and the armored car explodes but the objective still says to destroy the armored car. Any one know how to fix this?

This first mission sucks, but once you get to the good bits it's actually a great game, especialy that last mission of the soviet campaign with the submarine.

If you can get past the horendous voice acting, the cheesy lookin' cut scenes and the occasional dull stealth mission, the game is awesome.

@mydon222 I heard the game was made in the Ukraine, the english voices were dubbed in for the international release. In the latest expansion, Assault Squad, the voices seem a little bit better.

Base building and shermans which survive after fifth shot from Tiger are of course main advantages of coh xD

@mlosmlos I like both, CoH and MoW. They are just different, you can´t compare em straight on. CoH is more arcadish, sacrificing realism for a more fliud gameplay. On the other hand, MoW is more realistic (still not really realistic, for that I prefer Theater of War) and more accurate historically.

@mlosmlos Agreed, the game creaters always give unreal advantages so they won't get bored coz they got owned. I loved this game bcoz it's giving you the real face of war. Maybe guys would say the KV swiped 200+ guys and vehicles so it's still unreal, but considering that KV as a heavy tank, it could easily take out the light and medium tanks.

P.S. The further missions really make you feel frustrated sometimes coz you are very likely to get owned on the first few trys.

just a note to anywho play this game. in 4:17 you see that building on the right, ya that one theres a gap between it and the boundaries you can send 4,6 heck all of you men around and theres a crater there for you men to take cover behind (if they hide behind the tank hull thats full and make sure there holding fire) in this position you have the flak of the Germans and they don't see you saves lives . press the fire control button to get to fire at will and you kill fritz in about 2-3 seconds

Youre soo wrong. Soldiers in MoW do turn themselves and defend themself. Yes, they dont pickup ammo or weapons, but cmon - are you so lazy that you cant give weapons to your soldiers? Or you wish that AI would play for and youll just watch epic ww2 movie? Then go and watch Saving private Rayan. And what about controls - they are not bad at all. They are just different from CoH, and that is obvious that they have to be different - coh is usual rts,and mow is tactic/shooter

The only thing CoH has over this game is a skirmish mod. MoW campaign's are quite fun unlike CoH. Multiplayer is, of course, great as well.

firstly, this game is very different from coh - much more realism, better physic, there are almost all major countries of ww2 - usa, britain,germany, ussr, japan. secondly - first game in this series of games was released in 2004 - Heroes : Soldiers of ww2 . and coh was released in 2006.
