but also the speed of the colors

  • @blondeontheinside100 Most people who watched this episode watched it in full screen, and the intense colour flickering while obscuring most of there vision while so close to the screen caused them to get seizures.

  • @ello20000 Seizures are some serious shit bro. Think of a better attempt to get a thumbs up.

  • Hey! They activated the Seizure Procedure!

  • I feel sorry for Porygon. He's been blamed for it all these years. It was really Pikachu's fault! Pickachu used Thunderbolt on the missles and caused the flashing. Now they won't show Porygon's.evolve forms in episodes. Porgon2 is my favorite pokemon and I wanted to see it shine on an episode...but no! Pikachu is too blame even tho I love the little guy :3

  • @cottencandiexoxo video games dont make u a nerd

  • Meh.

  • Hmm. No seizure.

  • Well... ive been playing video games since i was 3 so after 14 years of gaming i dont think anything can give me a seizure... and im a girl so that doesn't make me a nerd!!... I think... :)

  • @cottencandiexoxo How does being a girl make you any less of a nerd? How does playing video games make you a nerd to begin with?

  • @cottencandiexoxo

You have just described a geek. Geeks and nerds are completely different things :P

  • @cottencandiexoxo All of your ignorance

  • haha all i could think was "omg I hope I don't have a seizure" hahaha

  • My eyes kinda hurt from watching tht

  • i didnt has seazure too...

  • I was scared as hell before I watched the video cause I was reading a whole bunch of articles about this episode so I wanted to see it for myself I was hoping I wouldn't get a seizure I didn't but now my eyes hurt

  • In 1997, 685 kids in Japan were rushed to hospitals after an intense Pokemon episode caused dizziness, vomiting and seizures.

  • @killerramza360 this is the episode

  • I didn't have a seizure. I thought I was an advanced super specimen. But looks like no one did :(

  • Pikachu use Banned porygon fight episode It's super epileptic!

  • wha the i felt a litte weird after looking at that

  • Pikachu used Seizure Shock!

    It's super effective!

  • I was lied to I want my money back

  • I actually have seizures and it didn't do shit to me

  • How the hell did kids get seizures from that...

  • @LinkxXxX1 You must be dumb. Some people are epileptic. Rapid flashing lights/colors can cause them seizures. Epilepsy causes electrical signals in the brain to misfire so when they see this its too much for the brain to handle.

  • blblalblawwlblalblblalbawwwwbabl gurgle gurgle...........................x_x

  • that hurt my eyes lol

  • THAT GAVE KIDS SEIZURES!?

  • @WhatWouldNinjaDo1 İ am kid but i hasnt got seazure....

  • I was scared to watch it because I thought this video was a screamer to be honest.

  • wow... at first i was scared to watch it cuz of those 700 kids in japan!

but after i watched it i was wondering

wtf is so bad about it?

  • @sailormoonashley seizures can be caused by bright, neon-like flashing lights. Watch it too much, and, for some people, they'll get really bad headaches and their muscles in their head will spasm and it could kill them. Children are more vulnerable to this because their brain is still developing.

  • @sailormoonashley Epilepsy: A disease causing people that have it to have a seizure when they see flashing, bright colors. Not so much as StudioRebirth answered you. It's due to the common epilepsy disease, which doesn't mean anything is wrong physically, like other diseases. It just means something in your brain cannot handle the flashing colors. Epilepsy is very common, about 50 million people worldwide have it.

  • I am seizure prone! I can handle this stuff no prob!

  • @LLS12341 im a little afraid to watch it after all those things i heard about it!!

  • Thanks to video games this does not bother me at all.

  • it isnt bad but i can see how u would get a seizure

  • The only thing that happened to me was wanting to watch some of the old episodes agein XD

  • phew i survird but my heart is beating as hell i found out the kids had epilepsy for epileptic kids this can simply cause a seizure but not me

  • when the lights started i looked away

im srsly scared to watch the whole thing ):

  • I love how Porygon was blamed all these years...poor lil guy.

  • What I don't understand is why they couldn't have just applied some kind of filter over the animation frames - y'know, considering they replaced or altered the footage on so many other things.

  • I had a seizure, now I'm dead, I'm suing Nintendo.

  • Feck, I shit my pants when the voices started...

  • porygon, porygon2 and porygon z are digital pokemons, that can be translated to digital monsters(pokemon is pocket monsters), which makes the porygons the first digimons

  • That's really harmless. The red and blue lights are not even 5 seconds long. 700 japanese kids got a seizure, my god. They were epileptic anyway, because I don't think non epileptic kids would get a seizure ftrom this. 700 is not much if you realise that almost all japanese kids probably watch pokemon. :P They banning it for that?! I don't think American kids would get a seizure when they watched this. I watched worse epileptic videos.

  • ive seen a movie where there was an elliptic women and she seized after seeing a red flashing alarm light

this has really fast blinking red and blue? lights and the red could cause it

  • So they banned that ENTIRE episode for that 20 second clip? They could have just taken it out...

  • That wasn't so b--

-falls to the floor, foaming at the mouth-

  • My eye twitched. >.<

  • dude.. this is like every other pokemon episode basicly -.- if you watch the pokemon snap episode theres lights like that in every episode pretty much, if people are that stupid to sit that close to there tv's and watch it over and over, i'd get a headache too, but this is harmless

  • How could this give seizures its harmless

  • I gotta headache to o.O

  • That kinda gave me a headache... o.O

  • the japanese sit way too close to their tvs

  • 4kids actually fixed this by slowing the flashing down to an acceptable level, but the Japanese government nope'd them.

  • I'm seizure free :D

  • @yoleeisbored you sure that headache wasn't a tumor setting in? I hope so...

  • Nah just kidding! Haha I just wanted attention!

  • I actually got fucking blind for 2 minutes don't watch this I got really scared! I'm serious! this scared the crap out of me! :(

  • Hmm, interesti- HNNNNNNG

  • Im use to flashing lights like that so that did not bother me at all

  • Holy shit

  • Dammit Pikachu! <.<

  • The rapid flashing red and blue lights stimulate the brain and caused certain people to have seizures. The faster they are the more you are likely to have a seizure. In this video, the flashing is not fast enough to cause seizures. In The original, the flashing were faster. Take the Lavendar Town Syndrome. It depends on the person who is expeiencing it. People who have less developed hearing (children) are more capable of experiencing LTS than people with more developed hearing

  • This actually got me dizzy "/

  • I dont get how people would have a seizure after watching this... I mean the lights arent that badkjgbk;rgh;kgae;rohgodhrghrghae;v sA#e[i39[053 yu953taqow[gh [0 eazWA _}RaUGHU ORXS'UJX Y8[0w*ut+[G0U69PS[90E 8YPH9 S9ET6 9DZJRFTU0G[RIOGJFVBHONMCFGVB

  • @PainbowFox Suprizingly Shocking!

  • @Iamreallycoolful11 Omg, shut the hell up...

  • If you Electricute Missles They Shine Red and Blue? Maybe is they weren't so "Creative" and were more realistic they wouldn't have gotten this episode banned.

  • So Japan had a lot of kids, sensitive, epileptic, kids... For that reason I missed the "Full" Pokemon List.

  • did you know this episode gained Pokémon the dubious title of "Most Photosensitive Epileptic Seizures Caused by a Television Show" from The Guinness Book of World Records.
