i have a problem with my psp!!!! it was a second hand psp when i bought it it comes with a demo disc vol. 1 and other stuff, the thing is the software of the psp is 2.5 and the umd will only work if the software is 2.0 and in packaging of the umd said that it will be updated if you put the umd and i put it a hundred times but it's still wont work!!!!! can you guys help me? pls by the way mine is psp 1003 tnx

I don;t want to cry foul, but I've tried this about 200 times and I can't seem to get it to work, I'm running the official Sony 2.71 and every time I do the switch once the screen goes dark the disc stops running and it says "The game could not be started. (8002014E)" Please help I've had this game for 2 days now and I want to play it reeeeeally bad. Also showing that your firmware is in fact 2.71 would help

yes you can use it with 0.46 devhook. but you must use iso or cso, not the umd disk. run emulated 2.71 to get the game working.
2.71SE-B' can run the game directly from game menu, like other iso games.

cool trick, thanks. I already updated to 2.81 from 1.5 though, but I'm sure there'll be a downgrader eventually, and I haven't used homebrew in a while anyway.
