Really touching and good scene at the end. They were clearly right for each other. Unfortunately, the writers later in this episode made them forgot about their love when the time dilation field was reversed, making them go back to their (or more accurately Daniel's) irrational rejection of each other. This lowers the value of this otherwise beautiful clip to me.

I mean we all know from previous episodes that Valas relationship with Daniel is soo much more than just professional, I think that Daniel was scared to admit that to Vala when she seemed so keen on just using him for Sex but what he never seemed to realise was that her continuous flirting was her way of expressing her feeling for him and her fear of being regreted. All in all I L.O.V.E this scene.

this scene really made me not like daniel for the very first time, and ive watched Stargate since i was 12 and im now 23. he did manage to redeem himself, but it really showed how cruel he can be. i guess because he never though Vala was very serious with him, this was just another such occasion in his mind, which is understandable, so he had the right to be angry.....untill he made her cry.... then he realised she actually does care very much for him.... soooo sweet... :-)
@holly88ize You've got to remember everything she did to him, and everything that he's been through because of her. He's not being cruel, he's being honest. At least for a moment, until he realizes that she's being completely sincere.
When I saw this, my first reaction was, "Wow, he really doesn't think much of her, does he?" And then I realized that he was angry because he thought she was trying to use him for her own personal fun without regard to his feelings.
And then I realized the sad part of this whole scene, which made me feel bad for Daniel as much as I feel bad for Vala: He doesn't think he can actually hurt her feelings, because he doesn't think he matters enough to her.

great acting scene! I felt emotionally pulled in many directions - happy that Daniel was assertive, pissed at him for huring Vala, understanding why he thinks she's teasing him, sympathy for Vala because she is being Honest and joy at their coming together. Once again Great Acting Scene!
I still can't get over that they made Vala give in to him and forgive him so easily, the things he said would have ripped me apart. After he realized she was hurt by his words, If I was her I would have walked out of the room to make him feel as guilty as possible.

The fact that Vala was cring, you know he must have really hurt her. She always puts up a toough front. Yeah vala is flirty and she may "Screw with his head" but for daniel to go ON and ON about her like that, it really made me cry.
That scene made me cry o but they got together which made me happy. What pissed me off though was that they made them forget they loved each other heh.
Vala had a right to her feelings but Daniel had a right to some serious temper. As cute and useful as Vala can be, she terrorized them and even after she joined them there was only a little relief. They were easy on her and after three months on the ship with her even Daniel's amazing tolerance and patience is going to get strained. Sam and the rest of the team, fine. But Vala throwing herself at him after she's been happily screwing with his head the whole time is an invitation to get kicked.

This scene made me cry.
The fact that Vala was cring, you know he must have really hurt her. She always puts up a toough front. Yeah vala is flirty and she may "Screw with his head" but for daniel to go ON and ON about her like that, it really made me cry.

Vala had a right to her feelings but Daniel had a right to some serious temper. As cute and useful as Vala can be, she terrorized them and even after she joined them there was only a little relief. They were easy on her and after three months on the ship with her even Daniel's amazing tolerance and patience is going to get strained. Sam and the rest of the team, fine. But Vala throwing herself at him after she's been happily screwing with his head the whole time is an invitation to get kicked.

he was a totaly ass...and then he wasn't :) so it was all good. hehe, I liked it when she asks if he likes girls. XD
