  • Vic: i googled "rythm changes" and the second result was you!

I am studying this chord progression and i must say, i love it!

  • It's a great progression to learn, you'll advantage greatly from learning, don't rush into things take your time ,greets Vic.

  • Great playing as always! I noticed you play Bird tunes down tempo. This gives them a whole new feel and proves they don't have to be played in high tempos to sound good!

I'm working on this tune myself, but I'm thrown of at the B section.

  • Thanks,Amund, they're great themes that can be played slower, try to get all the mixolydian modes for the bridge, that's a good start.later you can add some altered stuff, greets Vic.

    Daniel

  • Muchas gracias Daniel,saludos Victor.

  • I like the lessons you are doing. Thanks for sharing.

Consider doing Misty. I can't play it and my daughter's name is Misty.

I will get through all you stuff sooner or later. Thanks for letting me watch.

  • Thank you Merlyn, that's a wonderfull name for your daughter and I will consider doing that tune in the future,it's a great Standard, glad you're enjoying my Stuff, there's quite a lot on my channel to listen to,we'll be hearing from eachother, greetings Victor.

  • suenas genial saludos

  • Gracias Hector un tema de Charlie Parker, saludos Victor.

  • excelent improvisation!!!

  • well done Victor very nice, in this case the sharp rhythm is a typical Jazz to can heard by hours. Is not really?

  • this kind of solos make see easy, you realy a jazzman, nice solos, and intelligent sequêncies phrases. Bravo Victor

  • Well that's different! Anthropology is usually played really fast. You make it sound very lyrical at this speed. I prefer your flowing solo to Enzmusics version of Rhythm changes(ie Moose the mooche).

  • An interesting comment Conn, somehow I prefer medium(up) and slow tempo's so I can really concentrate on a good melody flow, guess I'm more a "Mainstream Jazzman" than a Bebopper, anyway the main thing is to play what you feel inside. Thanks for commenting, greetings Victor.

  • Lots of feeling & fun, great work there Vic.

  • Victor, you look as if you're really enjoying yourself,

    Awesome stuff man!

  • nice head, one i still have to learn. you make it looke so easy.

  • Thanks Pat,you've got the Jazz in your heart man,a mighty fine player you are, always enjoy your work, keep on steamin'greetings Victor.

  • This music is fun!

  • I once heard the phrase: "Jazz is serious fun" and I can agree with that, greetings Victor.

  • camaraman: "Victor in his best guitar face" very nice

  • excellent again. What's the Guitar?

  • Thanks Classican,This is an Ibanez GB-20 that I bought in 1981,this model isn't made anymore but it's a very fine instrument,I changed the George Benson original soapbar pickup for a "Seymour Duncan" humbucker which I think is a good improvement soundwise.greetings Victor.
