Look again. That's because he had wheel spin in 2nd. He wasn't actually going 60 when it jumped like that. 0-60 time on the new 5.0 is ~4.6 seconds.

I have done 150 in my 2010 GT on a German autobahn but it didnt get there as quick as yours. I needed the GPS to tell me as the speedo is only to 140. I would expect with the extra in the 5.0 it should do some more :) Just need the space to do it.

@luiscompean You really can compare a GT to a cobra when the GT is so much newer. Honestly, stock vs stock the new 5.0L GT should beat a cobra. The cobra isn't any lighter than the GT, acutally it should be the opposite. A stock 03/04 cobra was weighing in around 3800+ pounds, just over 4K for the vert. The new GT doesn't weigh that much.

This is going to be your best top speed unless you regear or hold it down till Jesus comes back. Sixth gear is not your top end gear fifth is sadly. I already tested this on my 2012 with 3.27s and the 6 speed manual. I got these gears for acceleration though. Not going to be doing 150 very often =] Nice car.

I'm doing some experiments with different octane levels (HP gains, mileage, etc)...trying to solve a mystery my hyundai community has..lol Also, currently running the mpg test...looking good, burned up about 1/4 tank and am averaging 38 mpg!! That's ALL highway, and babying the car...killer part is, it's cold where I am, and my mileage is suffering from warming the car up. Plus, this cold air helps the turbo!!
