Geno MUST have his own games he has a lot of potential as a stand alone character. He was my favorite in this game, I guess there's a copyright thing going on between Rare and Nintendo that keeps Geno and Mallow ( and others ) from appearing in other games, considering they ( Rare ) created them instead of Nintendo?

I may agree with Nintendo not being so great with the RPG aspect, BUT, Geno needs to be in Super Smash Brothers people!!! It's more then an embarrassment to the game that he hasn't been yet. Everyone BEG Nintendo to add him to the next Super Smash Brothers game!! Also to add a TON of new characters, that is what makes the game so popular is because everyone has a character that fits their "play style", so the more the better!! You could throw in a Goomba for Christ sake I don't care just more :)

@PrinceLudwigvonKoopa Every one of the mario games made by square enix has had at least some obvious reference to one of their series (Culex, The mages ninja and catus dude in mario hoops 3on3, and an entire dragon quest crossover game).

I really don't think they'll break that tradition, and since they own geno, and this is a semi-big console release, they might see it as a good opportunity for a return for geno :D. Or better yet geno with other smrpg characters! and throw fawful in as well.

This game was the culmination of two of the : greatest video game music composers: Koji Kondo and Nobuo Uematsu. And it is very evident in this game of their influence. If only there were more. Also Geno is hardcore!

That's because Geno and Mallow were developed by Squaresoft (the guys who made Final Fantasy). Squaresoft basically had a disagreement with Nintendo and split away from them after Super Mario RPG, so Nintendo lost the rights to use Geno and Mallow for anything after that.

It's not Nintendo's fault. Geno was planned to be in Brawl! Square denied permission. One of the scrapped tracks was "Beware The Forests Mushrooms", also know as "Forest Maze". I'm pretty sure they'd allow the song in, if it was just the song being requested. Apparently that's why it was delayed so many times,issues with Square and Geno.

So, say thanks to Square for ruining sequels and other appearances.
