Habt ihr mal das Video mit der echten Fender American Standard Stratocaster und der Squier Classic Vibe Stratocaster verglichen??? Für mich als Gitarristen und Komponisten klingen beide sehr identisch und ich erkenne da keinen, nicht den geringsten Unterschied was der Klang einer Stratocaster betrifft! Super Gitarre, die hol ich mir!

Only the Spider really is shit. The Flextone, Vetta and the Pods are all decent stuff. I don't own any of them, but I'd happily use a Flextone as a cheap backup amp.

Played this yesterday through both a Fender Deluxe Reverb & Vibrolux and was amazed! Squier usually sucks, but this guy, to me, sounded better than MIM Strats. Really a nice sound & guitar, I cxouldn't put it down...the amps didn't hurt either :0)

sounds out of tune for a start i just got this exact some guitar because im on a budget sounds ok so far i think with a good setup texas pickups and a set of grovers could be a ok guitar

No, I have a MIM strat and and an Epiphone Les Paul with a Line 6 spider 3 amp. If you work with them a little, you can get a great sound. I have a boss CS-3 also that goes great with it. Now, at first it did sound thin and bad but when I worked with it and got in tune with my sound I can get some nice thick, hot tones.

I know, I don't believe it either. I'm still in denial XD

These classic vibe squier's have actually been getting really nice reviews. Many are claiming they are better than the Mexican made Fender stuff.

They aren't close. I've owned both, and there's no comparison. Any Squier (other than a Squier 51 with some .11s on it) sounds like crap.

really? cus I would think the fact that the squier comes with alnico pickups as opposed to the ceramic pickups on the MIM stuff is a plus.

Well, my MIM came with texas specials (the ones SRV used) and some other ones come w/ noiseless pups (the ones clapton uses on his strat) but I have heard some MIM one's come w/ not so great pups.

So I guess it's best to check and stuff beore

I think he was refering to the Fender Standard Stratocaster. I know Fender also sells guitars like the classic vibe and roadhouse strat that come with alnicos, but the Standards all come with ceramics.

I think you must have the Roadhouse Strat. MIM components save for Texas Specials. I am truly jealous that is a sweet guitar.

But yeah I agree with aces, if you are going to go for a Fender Standard just for the brand name it's best to check these first cause they're great.

I've been doing some recording w/ it and if I knew how I would show you or something but the only way I know how to send a recording is on email I think but whatever. It sounds really good, fantastic guitar, and great pickups too.
