Serisouly, no offence, but we game developers work hard to improve the graphics. just take a second to actually compare side by side.

They want to know where the rest of the POE is located on Earth(Peace of Eden). Why, cause Altair is the first who discoverd the Orange-hologram map wich came from the "Apple of Eden". SInce Altair disoverd first, he knows where POE are located, if ALtair know it and remember it, it is saved in hes DNA

Ok. Desmond Miles is a normal american person who has the DNA from his ancestor (his grand-grandfather, Altair), and with that DNA he has the memory, wich belonging to Altair. He can experince the memory with helo of the animus. The Animus can "open" up the memory file inside the DNA and experince it.
