Boeing design fault AGAIN? I've onyl heard of 1 design fault in the ADIRU systems of Airbus, whereas boeing and Mcdonnel Douglas have dozens of design errors.
Seriously... How could the Radar alt fail like that! It's horrible.
There are very good reasons to hold all traffic in while there is an emergency in progress. The crews might need to move aorund the taxiways and runways freely to get to the emergency and evacuate people. What if they allow traffic and there is another incident while the first one is still in progress? If you were an injured passenger in a plane how would you like to see the rescuers run away to help another airplane? Just think about it and you'll see it makes sense.
@Dinko007 It's 100% the right thing to do. Don't try multitasking when an emergency is in progress, and fire crews need to get about without a/c taxying over them.
Holland just blame the Turkish airlines because Turkish airlines getting bigger and gonna be the best of euope ... And at the last report they said " accident cause of altimeter " Damn it, These guys have been pilot for 40 years ! and they report 4km see sight that they had.Man come on ...
This is so much bullshit! do you know how much propaganda is in this?
1) The pilot was in direct contact with the tower requesting landing permission for HALF AND HOUR, the audio here has been edited completly! But the tower kept refusing to give permission for it to land; the pilot even said we could loose the plane if we carry on like this.
2) Turkish airways have recently shot up to #1 Airline Company. What would happen if "coincidently" one of there planes had crashed?
The aircraft came down to the right of the centre line of the approach to the runway. This and the fact it is reported the plane pitched up and then down may suggest it may have been subject to wake turbulence from the preceeding aircraft
Engines detached, fans intact sugesting no or very low power during the ILS approach descent. Impact at high angle of attack will indicate the structural damage sustained probably aircraft allready stalled at impact.
yes probably, not for sure! and if it did, then the question is why it did..!? due to pilot error, not probable. due to wake turbulance. very not probable.. did the pilot caused it to land the aircraft on the spot.. maybe! was it due to a sudden power loss at low speed! I guess yes!
"...did the pilot caused it to land the aircraft on the spot..."
If there is a "did" in a sentence, then the subsequent word should be written in its present tense, not past, so your sentence should read "did the pilot cause it to land..." You Portuguese speak crap English, don't you?
It looks to me like another Total Power Faillure similar to the one that happened last year with a B777 from BA at LHR, that landed short of the runway. Identical situation with the Turkish Air Flight 1951. More in time. Compliments.
Even though it was an Instruction Flight (Airline adaptation, obvious, not basic trainnnig) Captain was fully able TRI followed by a First Officer and Adapting Pilot. Adapting pilot probably at nº2 seat. (Al technical crew deceased).
I've cheked the metar and all meteo data.. wind was calm, not variable, no windsheer or other reported. Low thermal activitie. All separation were made, both by ATC and aircrafts. No emergency reported previous to the crash. (Fuel and others have several aural and light signaling devices that advises far before it gets to a dangerous situation).
the trafficcontrol says they had major problem at the airport....what was this problem then....second, as in every car, you may also know in advance that you run out of fuel in a B737 Plane. those who claim that the plane had no more jetfuel, talking out of their stomach...the pilots get an audio signal saying about the fuel. and they have reading devices....
Plane hit a ground with a tail, first. So it is obvious that he is stall for some reason. Maybe there was hidraulic problems, engines maybe...who knows.
It would not of been through a pallet shifting as the 737 is a loose loaded aircraft. The cargo and baggage nets are also in place even if they had not been put up properly though it would not of caused the aircraft to do this. Fuel starvation or wake turbalance are most likely I would say..
It's hard to believe they stalled the 737 with the stick-shaker stall warning. What I imagine happened is that they did run out of fuel, slowing airspeed which began a stall. Stick-shaker lowered the plane's nose, but it was so low the pilot pulled up to avoid a highway collision, and stalled it, trying to buy a bit more distance.

Another B737 Crash to add to their long list.
More than 5000 people killed inside this crappy Boeing airtrash.
The Killer 737 strikes again: enlarging their Fatalities "Guinness Record" per plane.
Boeing SUCKS.

"STAND BY, we have an emergency in progress??????" This is why EUROCONTROL SUCKS.
Im European, but the ATC system they have IS TERRIBLE.
It seems like ALL CONTROLLERS DIVERTED their attention to that now except maybe one or two.
This shows the difference between US AIRSPACE and EUROPEAN

Yeah right,
Like we took the plane down.
Just another pilot error.

They are supposed to have a lot more than half an hour extra fuel on board. Plus they should have an alternate.

Is it possible a shift of a cargo or baggage pallet towards the rear of the aircraft caused this I wonder?
Jetstarboy 3 years ago
there was no fire or explosions at all
so could be fuel starvation,
or a stall
who knows , i hope the rest of the paxs get well
the pazs declare that they felt a strong turbulence the the plane pitch up( then it stalled)
and the rest is history , too sad, isn´t it?
