  • your voice is always in our heart!

  • Emotion put into a tune as haunting and beautiful as it can be, sung by one of the greatest artists of the 20th cenutury, it keeps me shivering everytime i hear it...

  • great,bravo.....

  • Pavarotti: ÚNICO E INSUBSTITUÍVEL!

    Muitas saudades!

  • ._. just by looking at his expressions and reading the lyrics of this song my heart started beating like i was gonna have a heart attack... this song is so sad T_T beautiful though!

  • Pavarotti, even if he is no longer here he is still The Best!

Noone above him, noone beside him. We miss you.

  • got here from performing Tosca Fantasy for saxophone.

  • C'est grandiose Scarleth ! J'adore.il a su me faire pleurer.

  • Who cares how people found it. As long as it's not forgotten... Real music.

  • ineguagliabile.

  • Happy Feet 2 brought me here. :)

  • Bellissimo!

  • I feel sad when I think that he died and no one else will ever be as great as he was. But I'm happy to say I could see and listen to such a great artist. I'm from Brazil and I know that many people here share these same feelings.

  • Thumbs up if Erick's Opera from happy feet led you here :)

  • @chicomibaby wtf you uncultured bastards, you should have come here long time ago on your own, not because of some gay "happy feet" trash, wtf is that. shame on you.

  • @124235346 I am just saying, I discovered this amazing song because of Happy Feet :). If the kind people of Youtube would of not told me where Erick's Opera Originated from, I wouldnt of gotten here. This is a very nice song and there is no need to call me a bastard or there be any shame on it. Have a nice day :D

  • @124235346 Im sure the Maestro would not have cared how non-opera fans got here----Pava would have been glad they came and he had the opportunity to introduce them to the most beautiful music in the world as that was one of the ultimate goals of his career!

  • orgoglio italiano

  • Happy Feet!

  • There are simply no words to do justice to the grandeur of the Maestro - he was not from this world. His voice gives warmth, strength, love and so much more - rest in Peace, Luciannone!

  • It is the most beautiful area I ever heard,

Can listen to it for eternity ...

Touching to tears..Pure masterpiece in voice, acting and music

  • To know the beauty of our planet to those coming from other worlds, just make them listen to this music. Will have to stop by force

  • There is NEVER a time where I can hear this and not be completely consumed with tears. Never.

  • Eeeeric of Happy feet 2 brought me here! He sang this to his father Mumble at the movie! c:

  • 51 people just clicked the wrong button. This is awesome.

  • Pavarotti was one of the few singers to live up to his hype. Stunning.

  • Insuperabile in questa tosca

  • Comment removed

  • beautiful

  • @3F93 God protect italian people forever

  • @vince89130 What? I don't get what you meant to tell me...

  • @vince89130 Thanks

  • @ipocondriaco.

  • Impresionante Pavarotti.

  • This is proof man was created by GOD

  • @6798matteo True!

  • Truly one of the greatest tenors of all time.. he will be sorely missed.

  • He is serenading the Angels now, you had the voice of an angel. We miss you. R.I.P. Luciano.

  • powerful to say the least

  • The greatest of them all. Incredible!

  • muoio disperato :((

  • GOD NEEDED HIM UP THERE! HE IS NOW SINGING FOR THE HEAVENS!

  • Pavarotti voice will never go away even though he is gone. A tremendous performance of acting and his bel canto voice. What could you say about his magnificent talent. God bless you Pavarotti as you are singing now in heaven.

  • Simply amazing!

  • I want anyone between the 43 that disliked this to tell me why they did that, i cant imagine someone not loving this, so if u have a good reason, pleaste let me know so we can talk about it.

    Grande Luciano!

  • @Tile102 unfortunately, there are many old sour dudes here who swear only by the old timers kraus, bjoerling etc.

  • very good

  • he is a great artist toooo!!!! damn he is the best!!

  • Simply the best---EVER!

  • @hecate235- because this is opera- the greatest form of theater- a stage for romanticizing the dramatic- Cavaradossi's last moment alone before his execution.

  • Comment removed

  • The voice is just stunning, wonderful, brilliant. But the last is sheer chewing-on-the-scenery over acting. Ah, Luciano, you already had us, why'd you have to ham it up? With this, less is definitely more.

  • Simply in a whole different league...

  • #1

  • My heart just broke.

  • R.I.P Master :(

    Stridea l'uscio dell'orio...

E un passo sfiorava la rena...

Entrava ella, fragrante... mi cadea fra le braccia.

Oh, dolci baci, o languide carezza,

    mentrio fremente...

    L'ora é fuggita... e muoio disperato!

  • There are two pieces i can't listening beeing unable to stop tears wet my eyes: The Verdi's 'Va' Pensiero' and 'lucean le stelle. Pavarotti, unforgottable.

  • W Puccini!

  • ı prefer placido usually but this time he is the best. he is more than a tenor escaping baritone in many parts. ı send kisses to his soul!

  • Pavarotti at his BEST!

  • Bravíssimo!

  • @skapouma This has restored some of my faith in humanity.

  • In my humble opinion, this is the best and greatest version of Luciano in this aria. Unbeliveable.

  • The Rosetta Stone will teach you Italian very quickly. It's expensive, but it works. I learned to speak Spanish with it within 3 months. It's very effective.

  • This musical moment . Pavarotti and this unbelievable song is bigger than life itself.

  • Wow!!! Cant understand a word, yet it is so....... moving!

    Great singing.

  • @AreWeMuslims

How the stars used to shine there, How sweet the earth smelled, The orchard gate would creak, And a footstep would lightly crease the sand. She'd come in, fragrant as a flower, And she'd fall into my arms.

Oh! sweet kisses, oh! lingering caresses, Trembling, I'd slowly uncover her dazzling beauty. Now, my dream of love has vanished forever. My last hour has flown, and I die, hopeless! And never have I loved life more!

  • @DonGiovanniDue

Thanks a lot for your translation.

I could read the captions . What I meant was that I cant understand the language at all. True enjoyement would come if I knew this language as a native but I dont. Still it is so beautiful.

    Thank you once again.

We too have such singing in Classical which is different.

  • He was supposed to be a lyric tenor, yet he had a huge voice with some power.

  • One of the greats... Can u believe how good this sounds.. Bravo Bravo

  • Listen carefully at 1:43

Shivers down my spine... absolute perfection!

  • the Prophet has spoken....

  • so good it's devastating

  • 40 people are tone deaf, or too dumb to know where the "like" button is.

  • HE WILL NEVER BE REPLACED.....the most beautiful thing i've ever heard in my life, was lucciano's singing. R.I.P.

  • @82maigret82 i agree. Great Pavarotti, but the best Cavaradossi is Domingo!

  • grandioso

  • It wasnt just the power and quality of voice, it was the character it had. You can feel the emotion and pain, even without the video. This was one of the things that made him such a great singer

  • the best voice in the world............

  • He was a legend, there is nothing more to say.

    RIP Pavarotti!

  • Ho le lacrime agli occhi! Grazie!

  • "L'ora è fuggita e muoio disperato" .... masterpiece!

  • Comment removed

  • Even for someone like me who is not used to listen to opera... it is impossible to enclose oneself from the beauty of the lyrics, the music and the way it is delivered here. I am absolutely speechless... and remain in deep respect for the artist.

  • Bravo Luciano Pavarotti! Great Maestro,Bravo

  • oh my god. true voice right there

  • Luciano estas entre nosotros para siempre.

  • @skullheadbreakers if you dont like opera, why the fuck do you bother waste your time watching it you stupid tool

  • @MUTEGIO36 don't feed the trolls.

  • This is one of the more convincing performances from Pavarotti acting-wise. He usually looked quite stilted and contrived on stage, but this was very evocative and each gesture has meaning.

  • @jmiller05 I agree, his acting was unusually excellent here. I wonder who directed this production (assuming, perhaps incorrectly, that that had anything to do with it.) If not, he was just inspired that day ;]
