  • Otimo video, luto TKD WTF, vou praticar pelo seu video.

  • ye that looks good and done well but how should u hold ur gard

  • why is your punching bag so small compared to you?

  • thats bad ass bro. let me kno if you land that in a street fight tho. im not trolling, i will try to get this kick in my repetoire too, but im saying its very unlikely you land a clean shot in real life scenario. badass kick nonetheless.

  • fucking sick

  • how name this equipament?

  • american tkd is an abomination

  • I think it's like a 540

  • Fuck that would take a guys head out D:

  • ..

.....This man is either a giant or that bag is very small.

  • Look how unbalanced he is at 0:03 and 0:04... tisk tisk.

  • I seen this 2 months ago i have practiced it and love it i use it in sparring ill do the reverse turn at the beginning and i fake it just like he does and i throw a 360 back kick.

  • muay thai fighter could leap over the set up and shin kick his head while his back is turned, but maybe this kick is for TKD only?

  • @Celphinx

Almost everything that TKD - especially WTF - do is for other TKD people.

In an actual situation, TKD is mostly useless, but it's a fun sport, I guess, and a lot of people are attracted to it. So as long as they are off their butts and doing some sport - I'm all for it :-)

  • @grozde it depends what kind of tae kwon do you train in there are instructors and clubs that only cater to the martial sports instead of the martial arts , tae kwon do is an excellent form of defence and offence combined with hapkido.

  • @chesesify

...and with boxing ...and with Thai boxing ...and with rugby... ;-)

    I'd dear to disagree.

I don't really buy the "there are no bad martial arts" nonsense. There ARE styles that are simply impractical, their core strategy is poor or outdated, etc.

TKD is a very athletic sport, but is NOT a good way to learn self-defence/actual H2H combat. (Although in some instances it certainly might be preferable over nothing at all)

  • @chesesify I combined it with juijutsu lol...

  • @grozde thankyou for your reply, Tae Kwon Do is an elegant sport and martial art, and i do respect all TKD's follower's. K1's Axe Kick master tought me how devestating TKD can be when used by a master.

  • @grozde It's not useless if you know how to use what you trained...

  • @ChrisWindyBoy

Sorry, it is. Let's be real, shall we?

(When I say useless, I don't mean "as useless as playing backgammon" - obviously, any for of athleticism gives certain advantage)

  • That front kick was terrible. His foot was in position for a side kick.

  • @bestnameever13 it's a cut kick not a front kick tool

  • @bestnameever13 that was a backkick-.-

  • nice cut spin flying jumping bouncing radical awesome jabbing cut-throat super kick...... oh wait, you mean you don't give long stupid names to everything?

  • this is brutaly awesome!!

    i have to learn this

but for now i can't even do spin hook kick :(

  • hahhahah si vea jajaj pero buena combinacion de patadas

  • holy shit you had so much momentum with your spin that the sunset did a 180!

  • so easy

  • Awesome!!

  • sweet kick!!

  • awsome i like that move ! :) its very effective on my training ^^

  • finish him!

  • That kick is so cool ima learn how to do it

  • for korean tkd u do all this while ur in the air. u never land on ur feet

  • too much set up, he shouldnt have to step twice to get the momentum for it, it should just explode out of no where

  • y did he say "ohh?" wtf lol

  • Very good technique!

  • i did it! 4hours of long work dude!

  • that was just awful

  • I pushed the vuvuzuela horns to save time

  • hmm it seems like u didnt took another step, but in slow motion u actually did, i thought u suppose nt to take an extra step but instead jump when ur 360 cut kick lands on the bag?

  • your first kick in an arial kick never needs to be hard. it is just to change momentum or get hieght. your last kick should be the hardest.

  • thats not too hard, and hes doing it qith little jumps before the tornado kick, its only one movement

  • WOW! I would love to learn that! I'm in tkd so maybe I'll try it....

  • awesome video ,man I really liked the video

    5 stars *****

by watching this video now i can do it . hell yeah

  • Incredible. What belt are you? My best friend is a 3rd degree blackbelt and since the place in which he trains at is shutting down, he's going to train on his own and I'm going to be his apprentice. These tutorials will definitely help me in being a tae kwon do apprentice.

  • @RockXStarEvan apprentice? but he isn't allowed to certify you as a black belt?

  • I've never really done martial arts before, and I'm not focusing on belts, I'm more focused on my actual martial arts abilities. Belts are good for setting goals though.

  • @RockXStarEvan did you ever practice sparring?

  • Not yet. I have yet to actually use what I've learned on something, seeing that I don't have a punching bag and my instructor is also my best friend, and saying that we like to relax most of the time.

  • @RockXStarEvan gl then :O about 2 years for black belt level, 1 and a half if you're fast

  • Thanks :). I definitely need to get some sparring practice in though, I haven't learned much in awhile.

  • @RockXStarEvan it's more like for entertainment, don't get it twisted with real street fighting. like for reaction, recovers and clean combo executions when you get at that level. but IT IS different than you might've expected like me and my past experience... let me tell you it wasn't a great start.. X.X

  • I'm not really gonna use all these ridiculous kicks when I'm in a street fight, I just want to learn some punching and blocking techniques, and learn to master them.

  • @RockXStarEvan interesting... your instructor does blocking techniques? We usually focus 90% on kicking. gl then that's pretty rare

  • Well, he showed me the basic blocks once and we went over a blocking exercise. We haven't really done much training since then though.

  • dude we practice blocking and punching after the warm up and we punch at sparring only if we are too close :D thats with my previous instructor.. but now we dont do that on my new class.... T_T

  • @chalopee After 20 years of training and teaching 10 yrs I sure teach blocking, grappling and Kicking equally otherwise what good if you can't utilize it in the street for self defense? So to me a good instructor would show all aspects of taekwondo not just olympic style. As for me when I actually did get confronted in the street I only used 10 percent of kicking other was grappling, blocking and hapkido.

  • @RockXStarEvan You should always master kicking as well not just punching and blocking. A good martial artiest will tell you to use all styles of martial arts and not just restricting your self in one style. I've been doing taekwondo for 20 yrs and teaching 10. I've also studied boxing, hapkido and grappling so I use all styles and krav maga

  • @program363 Thanks. I was reading a Bruce Lee Jeet Kune Do book and I found a really good section on punching combos. I already know a few kicks, I just need to get an instructor.

  • and what kind of blk blt u get aftetr 1.5 yrs

  • its possible if your good and depends on your school. It helps to come from a different martial art background. Im going to get my tkd blackbelt in a few months which will be 2 years for me. And i came from kungfu after wasting my time doing it for 7 years lol

  • @david1035669 1st Dan if you can get that fast but black belt for 1st dan generally 2 yrs from start.

  • @RockXStarEvan Belts have a really interresting history and meaning, try to find them (:

  • @elhijodelblues I will have to look into it :)

  • I can do this.

    In Tekken 5. Hehehe.

  • haha made me laugh

  • what!? so then i can fly like a helicoptor with a sword. YOSHIMITSU! lol.. take it easy. jus kiddin'...

  • i can do this but i can get a lift myself enough to do the reverse turning kick at the end

  • very nicee!

  • jakeyjakey101, try barely kicking the bag with the first kick. Something else you can try is to start with one foot on the bag, then jump to the hook kick. This helps your body learn to execute the hook after the initial kick. Good luck!

  • @awtkd, yeah! that sounds like a great way to practice it. Thanks man!

  • i cant doooo thisss....grrr....i get the first kick in and then i push myself out too far and out of reach

  • easy kick i learned it when i was a blue belt

  • bullshit

  • for real.... korean tkd is wayy different from american

  • liar....

  • its a front kick then a spin kick not so hard

  • wat!? r u talking about butterfly kick??

  • @backatchalol ....Whats american taekwondo?

  • @veshkeat how Americans teach it. ATA, all american tkd studios have to follow the rules

  • @backatchalol You mean the americans have their own rules for tkd? I thought they followed ITF, WTF, GTF and ITS just like every1 else

  • @veshkeat yes they do

  • @backatchalol Well, a day spent learning is not a day wasted. What's the federations name? just american tkd?

  • @backatchalol its doenst matter the country but the sensai that learns u the technique matters....

  • @Erolina1 true that

  • i already learned it at yellow!

  • hey i use to do this kick as part of our "long combination"

    it was tight

  • wait.......u took another step after the spin then jumped.......isnt that sketchy or just a step cut leg hook kick?

  • In Olympic style competition, the kick is typically called a 360 cut hook kick or something close. Of course, you never would throw this kick unless you were 15 points ahead (impossible with new 7 point rule). In the acrobatic kicking world, it's not a true 360 with the step. Those guys would call this a cheat 360... Nice observation dantech!

  • acutally it is possible - no more 12 point ceiling or 7 point spread

  • StL33T, you're right! I totally forgot they eliminated that in November of 08.

  • awesome kick

  • that was sexy!! had i had to chose a way to be knocked out...this would be it

  • word.

  • Very good point! On the other hand, that is precisely why there was a rule change in Olympic Style sparring. If you fall, without your opponent causing it, you will receive a kyongo (half point deduction).

  • sometimes its btter that the person NOT finish in a proper stance because particularly after the hook kick there is a short period of time when the person is spinning back to his proper stance where his is vulnerable. thats why you see a lot of pros in competitive sparring always fall down after their jump hooks. anyways, thanks a lot!

  • ive seen this kick being done but never figured anyone would make a video on it. thanks a lot! i also didnt know the first kick was supposed to be a cut kick (a cut kick is a sidekick right?).

  • The first kick doesn't have to be a cut kick. It can be a full on side kick. There is not much difference between the two. The cut kick originally got the name when it "cut" off your opponents attack. Anything from a front kick position to a side kick position using your heel is generally called a cut kick. I hope that helps!

  • only problem i see is if you do do a full on side kick chances are hes gonna move or be knocked out of your head kicks range i prefer forcing him to drop his hands to get his head open

  • Very nice...alot of people fail to finish well, in proper stance.
