i dont like how upcoming supercar companies use g sourced crate engines....getting kind of repetitive, it is however a great cost cutting option for big horepower, but surely they can do something a bit more unique like the m600 and the volvo v8, or the gumpert apollo and its audi v8

I had a talk with one of their engineers at a carshow, turns out that when they say "Completely reworked" Z06-sourced engine, they really mean it ... there's barely anything left of the original engine.

And the way they tested the new engine was good fun too, turn the turbo and supercharger up to 11, and run the thing around at 1345HP setting for 2 months. And then detune it a little bit for the production model, if it still works.

But hey, it worked. :)
